What is your most memorable wedding?
My sisters wedding at a countryside brewery.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Timeless, Classic, Natural, Easy-going, striking
What about your business are you most proud of?
Being able to help couple to enjoy their special day and give them a real memory of it.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Ask questions! Don't just presume things or be scared to ask. You are paying money for things so it should always be perfect for you! It's your 'special day' not your 'it will do day'
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Bespoke candles made in a pint glass and wine glass that were a pint of ale and glass of prosecco, the couples favourite drinks.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I will email back and forth initially to give them an idea of prices and get them to send me a list of requirements. I will then usually meet with the couple at the venue and talk through the day and plan out specific shots that they may have in mind in certain areas. I then get the couple to go away and write a shot list for the formal photos and then the rest is down to me. I will have an idea of times for the whole day so I can ensure everything runs smoothly and fits in with the photography.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
You can't pick one! If there had to be just one photo I would either say a beautiful portrait inside or outside of their venue or a natural shot of the couple laughing together showing the true happiness of the day.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
Always have a nice umbrella with you ready. It is worth spending a little bit on a nice white one just incase! I always have a back up plan for rainy days and will have an indoor area already planned out for photos if outdoor formal shots are not possible.
