The Out Barn at Clough Bottom

We got married on 4th August 2018 and it was the most magical day of our lives. The scenery, venue, friendly staff, the dairy farm accommodation, room decorations and the personal touch that can only come from a family run business where everyone who works there is passionate about making your day amazing. Best decision to choose the Out Barn and I would recommend it to anyone. We haven’t had our professional photographs back yet as it was only last weekend but I have attached one that one of our guests took. I am still on a high and cannot thank them enough!!

For our Wedding, my wife and I really struggled to find a venue that could accommodate the number of people we wanted to invite and also allow a more unique (non-package) experience. On a whim of a recommendation from a friend (Jack from Pig and Rhubarb) we ventured over to The Out Barn. The space was so unique and loved the modern barn look. They also have great setting for pictures, with a view of the Ribble Valley as well as a cute little bridge at the back! We met Ruth and Henry there who were confident that they could build the wedding for us at their gorgeous venue and true to their word - all our little personal, Vietnamese and Jewish touches were done with no problems what so ever. We were able to decorate as we pleased, have our own suppliers and bands. We had selfie mirrors, sweet table, Vietnamese accustomed coffee station and wedding bouncy castle. (Which was our personal favorite!) But you literally can do so much with the space! The only thing they request is that you use caterers from their selected suppliers, due to quality and familiarization with their kitchen, although for special diets they said they could accommodate different caterers, as long as they had certain quality standards. With Emma working with us on the day, I cannot say how professional, kind and caring the team were; we felt so looked after during the process of the wedding planning and the wedding day. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The staff on the day were so lovely and looked after us and our guests. Special thanks to Emma as she helped to keep the day running smoothly, was by our side all day and kept my (the brides) nerves at bay. On our way back to London, I forgot that I had left my veil and they kindly sent it to our address which was just lovely. We had so many people who commented on how wonderful the venue looked and they were absolutely right, we didn't need to do much for it to look amazing. We can't wait to share the photos with you! Thank you guys for allowing us to create an incredible day and some incredible memories! Even a flying bride!

We had our wedding at The Out Barn on Saturday. Everything went smoothly and it truly was the perfect day. The wedding team I hired worked together to exceed my expectations - in particular the something blue bridal, flower emporium, Ian Newton videography, wambam weddings photography, vanilla cakes, cater my event, Alex birtwell entertainment, hair by Jessica rothwell and make up by Helen cafferky.

Thank you so much for everything you did for our wedding on 28/10/17. On the run up, Richard and Molly were always on hand to help with any questions. The day ran so smoothly and exactly to plan. Thank you. Mr and Mrs Bateman x

We had the most amazing wedding day here and cannot recommend the Out Barn enough. Ruth, Henry and the team were so helpful and accommodating and really went the extra mile to ensure our big day went smoothly and how we wanted it - nothing was too much trouble. We received so many compliments from our guests on the venue - it looked beautiful and the outdoor space was an added bonus, thankfully the sun was shining and we could make use of the field. It was also the perfect size for the number of guests we had and many of the guests appreciated the lounge area complete with new log burner, while the main room transformed into a great room for dancing in the evening. All in all we loved everything about this place! Thanks again!

We had the most perfect wedding reception at The Out Barn 2 weeks ago. The location is absolutely stunning and the venue works perfectly. Henry, Ruth, James and the team were all very helpful and accommodating in any personal touches or ideas we wanted to introduce to the venue from decorations to drink requests and out door games. The indoor space comfortably fitted 105 people on long tables and we had lovely weather so all the outdoor space was used giving the amazing views. The main room was then rearranged by the team and an extra 40 guests were easily accommodated with the back room and seating space appreciated by older guests. We got nothing but positive feedback from all our guests and would definitely recommend this venue to all family and friends.

Wow... What a truly stunning & unique venue in a beautiful setting. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Henry, Ruth, James & all of the staff are absolutely wonderful - so friendly & helpful. All queries in the run up to the day are answered straight away and on the day itself they cannot do enough to help out. The day ran so smoothly and there was a truly relaxed atmosphere which allowed us to enjoy our day - this was all thanks to them. The Barn is beautiful both indoors and out - in fact it tipped it down for most of our day but that did not matter as the inside is just as great. We had the best day of our lives and I really don't know why anybody would consider any other venue in Lancashire :)

We wanted somewhere different to get married and we were so happy with our choice. Having booked over 2 years ago our wedding this summer was well worth the wait. Richard and Molly are amazing at what they do, never make you feel like any question is a stupid one and worked their socks off for us before the wedding and on the day. We loved every single minute of the planning process and the big day at our beautiful venue. Thank you so much for being a part of our perfect and unique day. Charlotte and Phil
