The Green Cornwall

We eloped! And everything was so easy and magical. I had to call to doublecheck I wasn’t forgetting anything, but I wasn’t! The whole team had our wedding under control, and it was the best day of our lives, truly. We arrived the day before, the cottage was beautiful and filled with so many delicious treats. We were met by the amazing Cathryn the day before, and although she wasn't our witness she did an amazing job of explaining how our day would run and relaying our wants to wonderful Andrea. Our private chef was wonderful, he cooked the most delicious 3-course meal for us- it was a perfect way to end the day. The grounds were stunning, and it was all-round the calmest I have ever felt. The staff felt like members of the family; they were just as excited for us as we were. I was sad to have left them without a proper goodbye. Despite not getting married in our original location due to the weather (it didn’t matter in the end!) we got married in the beautifully decorated barn. It didn’t matter that it was just us two, Andrea pulled out all the stops to ensure our wedding was perfect – everything from helping me put on my dress, to decorating the arbour after the ceremony for photographs. I am truly blessed to have found the green – just a wonderful location with the most wonderful, down to earth staff. And the photos on the grounds and surrounding area were breath-taking, the location makes the photos and this was the best location for us. Having photographed over 50 weddings at The Green I am well placed to testify that this venue has everything you want for a stress free and stunning wedding day. Situated in rural Cornwall The Green is what it says..Green! Beautiful lush fields, a choice of arbours for outdoor ceremony accompanied by birdsong and a woodland walk that will bring the wow factor to your wedding photos The Green has them all! With plenty of modern on-site accommodation the venue has the right mix of rural and contemporary. Both The Wedding Barn and the Rural Barn are simply perfect spaces for weddings of all sizes and in all seasons. And the Red Brick Barn a very modern, light and spacious reception venue giving you the flexibility of not having to wait to set up your wedding breakfast tables. Having photographed weddings for anything from 2 to 120 people here and both feeling perfectly fitting the venues flexibility is incredible. The staff and wedding planners and very professional and attentive to the couple, their guests and suppliers. I can highly recommend The Green..with one warning...if you arrange to view it..expect to want to book it!

It was the best day of our life... the venue was amazing and so were the people

We got married on Saturday 6th October at The Green and it couldn’t have been more perfect. As an even manager myself, I had high expectations but the team went above and beyond. If you are looking for a wonderfully relaxed, yet 5* venue, I couldn’t recommend this venue more. The planning was dreamy with a dedicated team member, Michelle, who contacted us regularly, gave us timescales, advice and guidance and even when I needed chasing, was really understanding when I was crazy busy. We were able to spend the whole weekend with 30 of our closest friends and family who stayed on-site and were all made to feel so welcome. The day itself was completely stress free and the lovely Kate was there to worry about all the timings and getting everyone to where they needed to be. She checked in with us throughout the day to see if we were happy everything, if the schedule needed to be tweaked at all and even if we were warm/cool enough! We can’t thank the Green Team enough for all their hard work, seriously, the whole experience was wonderful.

Heading home from the most magical week in Cornwall where we held our wedding at The Green which was simply perfect & like something out of our very own fairytale. The entire venue is just beautiful with outstanding views! We had a beautiful weekend onsite with all our favourite people celebrating and it was everything we had ever dreamed our wedding could be. The accommodation was fitting for such a perfect venue & all of our guests loved it, we really couldn't of asked for anything more! Huge thanks to everyone at The Green, especially Michelle for all her help & support during the run up to our big day. We had some more than slightly quirky requests (!!!) & they were always met with a friendly & professional manner! Also, a massive thank you to Kate who acted like our little wedding fairy throughout the entire day, taking a lot of pressure off of us and running round making everything perfect! We got married at The Green in July 2017. We could not have picked a better venue, The Green is absolutely stunning and we loved every second of our day. We hired the Green for us and 30 of our guests for 2 days. We chose The Green for it's location, the views are stunning, and the ease of having onsite accommodation made it so easy. In the lead up to the wedding we communicated via email with Michelle, who was always quick to respond and couldn't be more helpful in answering any questions we had and getting all the finer details sorted. On the day before the wedding Mike and Louise met with us in the morning to finalise all the details for the big day, and throughout they were brilliant - we would not have asked for any more. You truly feel like your wedding is in expert hands, we did not need to think about anything on the day it was so professional and the whole day ran so smoothly. We chose to have the sharing platters for our meal, and it was unbelievable, all of our guests commented on the food - it was just delicious. For the evening we had a band- Stone Roots who were brilliant, and got everyone up and dancing. We loved our day and It was everything we had hoped for, and more. We can't wait to come back and stay at The Green for our anniversary. Mr and Mrs Robinson xxx

Words cannot describe how magical The Green is! You have to go there to see it! We had our wedding weekend here and it was the most amazing weekend we have ever had from start to finish! The accommodation was fabulous, staff are amazing (they make it perfect in every way) I feel almost homesick now we aren't there! All our guests enjoyed the day so much and so did Frankie and I. The food was amazing, everything is just magical! Thank you all so so much from the bottom of our hearts.

The Green was our first choice for a countryside wedding in Cornwall and we booked it just based on the photos alone. At first we wanted an intimate wedding of 12 which would have been perfect in the lovely big house which is more private from the cottages. A few months down the line we wanted to include more family members and friends and we were lucky enough to make the wedding bigger and book the entire venue for our 35 guests. Kate was our wedding representative on the day and she was fantastic from start to finish, nothing was too much of a big deal and she did an amazing job throughout the day and into the end of the night. We corresponded with Michelle throughout the planning process and she was always an email away with any questions I had. All the staff at the Green do an amazing job and really make you feel like your wedding is particularly special. The Green is a fantastic place for a wedding. If you want a Beautiful country wedding in Cornwall where greenery and nature is high on your list, The Green is definitely the place for you. There are not many places where you can marry underneath the trees in England and it felt so special to have married in such a beautiful and idilic way.

I just want to live my wedding day all over again! It was absolutely perfect, and the staff completely put you at ease and have everything covered. Even my dad said we couldn't have chosen a better venue - (and he's someone who always says something is 'fine'!) it wasn't the weather we wanted - but we did choose to marry in November. But kate and charlotte made sure we had nothing to worry about. The hog roast even still went ahead outside in the rain! Myself and Michael just want to thank you all so much - kate, Charlotte, Louise, Michelle and Moira & everyone else behind the scenes!! It was honestly perfect. We could not have found a better wedding venue than The Green! We got married here on the 9th September 2017 and everything was absolutely perfect. From the first visit we knew it was exactly what we wanted and had imagined for our day. The communication from the staff leading up to the day was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. We hired the venue for the weekend meaning all our family and close friends could stay on-site with us which really added to the experience. The cottages and main house are all fantastic. Our guests were so complimentary of the venue, asking how we had found such a wonderful place and the whole day ran seamlessly despite the on and off rain showers! Little touches really added to our day like our cards and gifts being moved in to our cottage ready for us to open at the end of the evening; and everything was organised and co-ordinated for us so we were at ease and didn't have to worry about anything for the whole weekend. We would like to say a massive thank you to Kate, Michelle and the rest of the team for everything you did for us and for making our day so special. We wish we could re-live the whole weekend again, and we are so grateful to have so many happy memories to look back on at such a beautiful venue xx
