The Dower House is the perfect venue for your wedding. Anne and her team are so welcoming and efficient at the same time. From the pre wedding meetings to the clinking of champagne flutes on the day everything went exactly to plan . I would strongly recommend The Dower House for your wedding , it has everything, old worldly charm, delicious food and fantastic staff, they really will nake your dream become reality , we will definitely be booking future celecrations here .

We were married at the Dower on 9th June 2017 and I loved the day from start to finish. I knew when i went to look at the hotel that it was the perfect place for our special day and I instantly fell in love with it. We were able to get married outside in the beautiful grounds in the sunshine which was intimate and relaxed at the same time. Anne anf all the team were fantastic, I didnt have to worry all day and nothing was too much to ask. On the whole the food was lovely, the venue was beautiful and the day was throughly enjoyed by us and all our guests. Thank You Dower House ❤

My family said the only thing that they wish we had was more time at such a stunning venue. The day was perfectly planned by Anne and her team meaning it was easy for us on the day. The food is incredible and nothing was too much for the staff!

What can I say but wow. It’s an amazing wedding venue and they really made our wedding special to us even though we only had a small wedding. We had an amazing day and everything was perfect thanks to our wedding planner (Anne) she made sure our night was amazing and we enjoyed every minute of it. We have recommended it to all our friends and family.

From start to finish the dower house did not dissapoint! Beautifull venue,fantastic staff! (Especially anne dobbs!) Who couldnt of looked after us better! We were fortunate enough to have our wedding ceremony outside on a hot julys day which was beautifull the gardens are imaculate! Food was also superb! We ended our night with fireworks which was the perfect end to a perfect day! All our guests complemented our venue and we feel very fortunate to of found such an amazing place! Our wedding is this December but I had to review to say the lead up gives us every confidence that our day will be magical. Nothing is too much trouble and Anne is so thoughtful and accommodating. We cannot wait to have our wedding at this venue. Five star location and venue. The service is second to none!

We had our wedding at Dower House in April this year and it was truly magical. We had a couple of unexpected very warm, sunny days and the team were happy to completely change our plans so that we could get married outside under a lovely bandstand- style shelter and take full advantage of the gorgeous weather. The whole day ran so smoothly thanks to Anne who made sure that everything was exactly as we wanted it. The staff were so polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They were very attentive and fantastic at coordinating all of the different suppliers involved in setting up the wedding. From the moment we started planning our wedding, Anne made us feel like we were a real priority. We had regular meetings in the build up to the wedding as well as a complimentary menu tasting which was fantastic. The food is exceptional and we would not change anything about our special day. We can whole heartedly recommend this as a brilliant wedding venue!

We got married here in august 2017. It was amazing from start to finish. Anne the wedding coordinator was great and put us both at ease. Nothing was too much trouble and she was really easy to talk too. We had exclusive use of the Dower House which made our day even more special and relaxed as it was only our family and friends there. With having exclusive use we had the orangery room to get ready in so we had lots of space with music playing and sandwiches brought in at lunch time for the children in our wedding party. We had an outside ceremony, there was a shower of rain just before we were due to get married but as soon as it stopped all the staff ran out with chairs and decorations to make it possible for our dream wedding! The food was amazing, months later guests from our wedding are still talking about how lovely it was. Nothing was too much trouble, even when a fussy toddler wasn’t keen on his meal staff came out with a huge bowl of fresh fruit salad for him. All of the staff were amazing and are a credit to the Dower House! The whole wedding day and night was perfect and ran effortlessly. For weeks after our guests kept saying it was the best day they’d been too. Truly is an amazing venue. We can’t thank them enough.

As soon as we stepped through the doors we knew we had found the ideal venue and Anne was amazing all through the planning stage and put us at complete ease about everything. We were lucky enough to have a break in the weather and we got married outside in the sunshine and it was beautiful. The chefs were very accommodating with our requests and did a superb job keeping our guests full and happy with their amazing food. The day ran very smoothly and we received many compliments about our choice of venue and how professional the staff were. We wish we could do it all over again!
