Description

Additional Note: Stourhead is now fully booked for Ceremonies in 2027. We are now bookings viewings for 2028 Ceremonies and will open our calendar and issue our pricing for 2028 in September . Thank you.

Stourhead's Palladian landscape garden was lovingly crafted in the 1700’s and is described as a ‘living work of art’ inspired by the painted masterpieces of the past. Our temples are located on the lakeside with stunning views of the surrounding gardens.

Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate gathering or a celebration with up to 80 guests, our beautiful temples and elegant mansion house offer the perfect backdrop for your special day. Our friendly, dedicated team will support you every step of the way — from your first visit to the moment you say ‘I do’ — ensuring your day is personal, seamless, and truly unforgettable.

After your ceremony, you and your guests can celebrate with drinks and photographs in some of the most picturesque spots on the estate. To continue your celebration you can hire Apollo Field perfect for a marquee reception of up to 200 guests. The nearby village of Stourton, at the heart of the estate, just walking distance from the garden, also offers wonderful options for accommodation and reception spaces.

We welcome bookings from April - September and book up to two years in advance. We will release our calendar and pricing for 2028 in September.

Please contact us for a brochure and availability for wedding show rounds can be found in the bridebook scheduler attached to our profile.

By booking your wedding with Stourhead, you are helping us to look after this special place.

We look forward to making your ceremony one you will cherish forever.
