Located on the borders of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex and Cambridgeshire, Minstrel Court is an historic Listed Tudor Manor set in six acres of beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking a private lake. The facilities are very flexible with a marquee overlooking the lake and our listed Long Gallery for dancing and entertainment (including our unique light up Disco Dance Floor)! At Minstrel Court there is no need to turn a single room around! Unlike most other venues in the UK, we have two romantic settings for your ceremony effectively offering an all year round facility regardless of weather!. With one Pavilion overlooking the lake, and a beamed Chapel with a view of Wimpole Meadows, both Pavilions are glassed in and heated and your guests are also covered creating two beautiful spaces to get married! Finally, we have our amazing three storey Regency Barn which will seat up to 135, so now whether you like beautiful outdoor marquees or soaring beamed Barns (complete with stained glass windows!) we can cater for every preference, making Minstrel Court one of the most flexible wedding venues anywhere!! STOP PRESS!! New for this season is the stunning illuminated Sky Lounge Bar adjacent to the Long Gallerey where guests can relax in comfort without having to shout over a disco! Our highly experienced wedding team will be available to assist you in the planning of your special day, from your first inquiry right through to departure of the last guest. We are completely flexible with the arrangements from reception only, to full civil ceremonies There are no fixed menus and all food requirements are fully flexible Subject to availability it may be possible to gain access the day before in order to decorate and dress the venue, taking much of the stress out of the Wedding Day! All of our packages are fully flexible and any element including food, alcohol, timings and guest numbers can be changed or upgraded to suit yourselves!
