I knew I would love it when I saw it online, but when we stepped into the cloister garden on the first showround we knew we would get married there. The pictures and videos online do little justice to how stunning Lillibrooke is. We viewed the rest of the estate with Jonny who made us feel so welcome and truly as though our wedding was just as important to him as it was to each of us. Lillibrooke just felt like 'us'. We booked our date there and then. Every interaction with the team in the lead up was simple and straightforward, nothing was too much trouble. Jonny and Fiona were on hand for any questions we had and were able advise us about what could work in the spaces available and make suggestions to help us to plan our big day. The day itself was perfect, I knew once my feet had set themselves down in the beautiful cottage room that didn't have to worry about anything. The wonderful Annabel went through everything with me and dealt with any issues that arose swiftly and without anyone noticing. An example was when my grandmother started to feel suddenly very unwell during dinner. Annabel quietly took her into the Engine Room for some space and air and looked after her. She and the team went above and beyond to ensure she was okay and helped to get her back to her hotel to rest, all the while keeping the rest of dinner service running perfectly. The team have got every single part of the day down to a fine art and I cannot thank them enough for helping us to have the most stress free, relaxed and amazing wedding. I would get married at Lillibrooke again in a heartbeat, the venue, staff, food (oh my god the food!!), were second to none. The feedback from each of our guests has been insane too, everyone was so impressed with every aspect. I just wanted to say thank you so much to Vincent and the rest of the team for accommodating me so well - I'm vegan and gluten free, so I never expect to eat much when I go out, but Vincent and the chef made sure I had superb food and I could eat it safe in the knowledge that all allergies were catered for. It was a real pleasure, and Vincent went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. It is a rare experience to be accommodated, and in such a way that I wasn't made to feel like a nuisance or a burden - such a treat! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We don’t have favourites! All weddings are unique and brilliant in our view. We have such a variety from circus to fairs, Rock chick to Wimbledon themes. That's why we say "your day your way". We mean it! So if a big wheel and bumper cars are your thing or picnic and vintage afternoon tea you'll be at the right place when you book Lillibrooke.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We love the back drop of our Manor House but everyone chooses their own favourite. You are spoilt for choice in our 15 acres of grounds but it is also quite compact so no need to disappear for an hour while your guests get bored! Any of the ancient brick walls and old garden gates are a photographer dream.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We were featured on an early don't tell the bride. It gets repeated alot so you might remember it. They married outside in the clositer garden and set up a fair in the field followed by a reception and party in the Great Barn. George Clarke has been here too but that was for filming of Shed of the Year!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Ooh that's tricky! Tempura coated vegetables were very tasty but of course they are all good!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Hot chocolate with marshmallows! We do a great posh bacon bap which goes down really well for a midnight treat.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
We have one of the largest Barns in the south of England.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The Staff. I love the way they always get a personal thank-you in reviews. There is a real relationship built up over the year or two between booking and send off.
