Description

Iscoyd is surrounded by 18th Century Parkland and stunning gardens overlooking the borders of North Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire. Although Iscoyd is large enough to hold 150 people for a wedding reception and has recently been restored to award winning acclaim, it still retains the character, history and welcoming warmth of a family home. This warmth gives Iscoyd a magical way of making everyone feel at ease, creating an environment that is both informal and relaxed but wonderfully comfortable and luxurious, full of little details that will make you remember Iscoyd forever. The traditional, classical and historical features of the house effortlessly mix with the contemporary interior design and innovative ceremony and dining spaces, taking the best of the past and combining it with the beauty of the present.

We have a choice of three beautiful, licensed ceremony rooms, an incredible outdoor space (Welsh weather permitting!) and the beautiful St Mary’s Whitewell Church on the edge of the estate no more than a mile away from the house. Included in the venue hire cost is our idyllic, 5 bedroom half-timbered cottage on the edge of the park, which is reserved for the wedding party from 3pm the day before your wedding. Iscoyd can accommodate up to 36 guests, with 9 bedrooms in the main house- and our Stable Rooms, Laundry Cottage and School House just across the courtyard, as well as our Wagon, positioned close to the lake. There are beautiful reception rooms within the house and stunning gardens, for all your drinking and dancing needs. For those with a smaller, more intimate wedding in mind, our recently unveiled Coach House is the perfect mix of elegance and rustic charm, with exposed beams, a fully fitted bar and its own garden terrace, capable of ceremonies and dining experiences of up to 60.

At Iscoyd you can choose whether to have the house for one, two or three days, or even longer by arrangement. Our ethos is built upon getting to know every couple, and alongside our fantastic wedding team, work with them to create their dream vision. Due to the bespoke nature of Iscoyd, we do not offer package weddings- everything we do here is entirely unique and built around the happy couple. Iscoyd Park ... you seriously are something else! Wow! We had the most incredible couple of days spent here for our wedding! Our guests were blown away! Charlotte our wedding organiser was superb! We cannot really put into words how incredible it was getting married at Iscoyd Park. As soon as we visited one freezing day in February and sat in front of the cosy fire, smelling the gorgeous candles, we knew it was the place for us. It has an incredible mix of grand, yet cosy and personal. Truly breathtaking. Charlie and the rest of the team from Iscoyd and the team from the caterers, Fine Dining Company, could not have been be more fantastic - both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. They were so helpful and did so many little things/touches/thoughtful acts on the day. Nothing was too much trouble and nothing was to be our problem. Not to mention what lovely, wonderful people they are! The food from Fine Dining Company was absolutely delicious and it was a pleasure planning the meals with Will. We also had some stunning flowers, including an incredible giant flower ball from Selina. We cannot really put into words how incredible it was getting married at Iscoyd Park. We got married at Iscoyd Park in May 2017, and it was honestly the best day of our lives! Every single thing, from start to finish was absolutely amazing. Will our wedding co ordinator was so helpful in the run up and also on the day - everything went so smoothly! The venue itself is just stunning and we couldn't have chosen a better place to get married and celebrate with all of our friends and family. Everyone has said to us that its the best wedding they have been to and we couldn't be happier! Best day ever!Best day ever!
The moment I walked through the front door, I knew this was not just a beautiful venue. It was more. Romantic, historic, the finer details such as the bedrooms, swings, gardens, library etc. The amazing staff who really make you feel truly special and think of all the smaller details. We fell in love with Iscoyd Park as soon as we entered the gates. As soon as we stepped inside, the aroma the house hit us and we know that we wanted to hold our wedding here. Every detail of the planning up to the day and the day itself was perfect and couldn’t be faulted. Our planner Will was the best we could of ask for, you can tell their heart is in it and they want to be there celebrating with you on your day, you get quite attached to them and that is proven when saying goodbye the morning after when there is a tear in the eye as you drive away. We were totally thrilled with everything and wish we could do it all again! We fell in love with Iscoyd Park as soon as we entered the gates. This is an absolutely superb venue and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The grounds are beautiful and inside the house the level of finish and the attention to detail is amazing. However, it has to be said that this venue is definitely made by the staff who were absolutely wonderful, especially Will who ensured our day was more than we could ever have hoped for. where do i start...? well from the night before the wedding to the morning after the wedding was just perfect.Charlie and her team were great wonderful amazing. They all knew what was happening help us out in an hour of need.they went the extra mile time and time again. The grounds and the views are great. The house and room are wonderfull and every room has a different taste and style to it. Everything about Iscoyd Park was perfect. Stunning venue, beautiful rooms and all the team are so incredibly helpful.
