Our very real thanks to you and all at Davenport House — not to mention Tom Kerridge — for the the brilliant, outstanding , exceptional Davenport House wedding of our daughter, Lyndsey, and our now son in law Conor. Davenport House location and grounds were delightful, the setting and house interior magnificent, the bedrooms extra special, the bridal suite luxurious, the adjacent Cottages spaciously comfortable. And the food, throughout the day was exceptional... the wedding breakfast even better than that, with thanks to Lush and Tom Kerridge. In the planning, preparations, guidance and support Davenport House were top notch... available, attentive, responsive. Service on the day, again, exceptional. What a day, what a place. The most perfect wedding/reception venue. My sister in law had her reception here and had a truly memorable day. The house is stunning, the staff are incredible and just can’t do enough for you, the food was out of this world (the best wedding breakfast I think I’ve ever had) and the attention to detail is simply overwhelming. It was love at first sight when we came to Davenport House and it was equally amazing when we got married here yesterday. The staff were brilliant, the food faultless, and the setting so beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue to get married. My client was married at Davenport House at the end of September 2018. From the very beginning Lizzie, Verity and team were very welcoming and a dream to work alongside. On the day itself Verity was attentive, professional and organised - making my job a lot easier! I would definitely recommend choosing Davenport House as a wedding venue - the sheer beauty alone should be enough to sway you - add on the amazing staff and you've got yourself one of the best venues in the country! I know it's certainly on my list for when I *eventually* get married!My client was married at Davenport House at the end of September 2018.
