HipTwist Wedding Stationery Full Description
Established in 2009, we have created stationery for hundreds of brides over the years for Weddings and events at many of the UK’s finest venues and for some well known clients including Premiership and England footballers!
We draw inspiration for our stationery design from a wide range of sources, from fashion to photography. Through keeping up to date with the materials, trends and influences in other areas of the arts, we are able to create unique stationery designs with a contemporary edge.
All too often, what look like nice invitations are let down by cheap materials or mass production processes. We believe that the quality of your Wedding stationery should match all other elements of your Wedding, which is why we work hard to source unusual finishing touches and top quality materials to make sure that your stationery has the ‘Wow’ factor. All of our stationery is completely hand made from scratch and certainly doesn’t involve any mass produced cards or pocketfolds!
At the same time, we believe that luxury does not have to come with an extortionate price tag, and our customers often comment that they are amazed at the value for money that we offer. Our invitations start at just £2.25.
We are based in Sussex but regularly work with couples all over the UK and worldwide; as far afield as Russia and Australia.

What is your most memorable wedding?
In the summer of 2015 we supplied the stationery for a very big Nigerian wedding at the Dorchester in London which was featured on Style Me Pretty. It was very spectacular! We also supplied the stationery for the wedding of an England footballer a few years ago.

What about your business are you most proud of?
Being able to create beautiful things for the biggest day of peoples' lives is a real privilege.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Leave plenty of time to order everything - wedding planning time slips away before you realise it and the best suppliers often get booked up early! On a similar note, make sure that you set your RSVP date for at least 2 months before your wedding as there will always be people that you need to chase for replies...
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We always love seeing what names couples have for their reception table - often they pick dates, places and events that are significant to them and it's lovely to see what these are. One couple named their table after all their (past and present) pets which was a really nice idea :-)
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We recommend that customers first purchase a sample which is fully personalised and lets couples see exactly what their finished stationery will look like. Customers would then request a quote, we send this over together with details about payment etc, and once we have received the first payment we send over final electronic proofs before starting work on the order.
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
Invitations are obviously a necessity, but if there was just one item of 'On the Day' stationery that you purchase we'd recommend a table plan. They look absolutely stunning, are a great focal point at the reception, serve a useful purpose (showing guests to their table), gets photographed LOADS, and is a lovely thing to keep and display in your home afterwards!
What is your best seller?
Over the years our best seller has probably been the Ballet collection - classic ivory, pearls and lace.
