We initially looked in to celebrant services when we weren't able to get a registrar for our preferred date and time - whilst this was disheartening at first, we are so glad that things worked out this way now! Prior to our wedding, Ruby spent time getting to know us and learning about our relationship. However, at no time did we feel her approach was in any way intrusive. On the day itself, armed with what Ruby had learnt about us, she was able to weave little anecdotes and fun facts in to the service via our 'love story'. This made the service so memorable and personal to us and it was so lovely to re-live our story in this way, with all of our friends and family present. A great approach and not one we have had the privilege of seeing before. At all times working with Ruby, she was friendly and enthusiastic whilst maintaining professionalism. We would recommend her services for couples who are seeking a personalised approach - be ready with the tissues though for those happy tears! Holly and Jake

Ruby was amazing from start to finish. We had a couple of video chats at the start, and told her our story. We had a little practice run at the venue the day before which put everyone at ease and made sure we all knew our parts on the day. Then the big day came, the ceremony had just the right balance of love story, humour and emotion....all the guests loved it! We finished the ceremony with a hand fasting which was a perfect way to wrap things up (pardon the pun). Highly recommended!! Andy and Natalie

Ruby spent time getting to know us over several Skype sessions. This was important as we live in Australia so was unable to meet in person prior to the day. She asked many questions about how we met and the important people in our lives and created a beautiful love story for our ceremony which worked really well because for the 7 years we had been a couple, we have not lived in the UK around our family and friends so it was important for them to know about our lives and our story. She described to our guests how we met, how my husband (still feels strange calling him that haha) proposed, why we had decided to get married in the UK etc. Many of the guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was, not religious, not a plain registrar, but nothing too long, just right. It was the only part of our special day that I didn’t have to worry about as it ran so smoothly and was everything I expected. Thank you so much Ruby you made our ceremony just perfect!!

Our wedding day was made special by so many people but especially by one particular person, Ruby. Ruby made our wedding OUR wedding; it couldn’t have been more perfect. Ruby listened to us and really understood who we were and what we wanted, she offered guidance and support throughout and our day definitely wouldn’t have been as special without her. We had so many comments about how fitting and perfect the ceremony was! Thank you Ruby, we will always think of you when we think of our wedding. G & F

Ruby was warm on our first meeting which is just what I needed as it was nerve racking. She went through everything in detail and took the time to learn peoples names and involved them so beautifully on the day. Nothing was too much or too little for Ruby. She always messaged back with calming helpful words when I was the other end of the phone stressing over little details. On the day I felt rushed up to the aisle as my husband said he was going to look at me as soon as I got to the door. However Ruby suggested to him not to look till I was at a nice distance and then she said he could look and I could see his expression on his face. I’d been so excited for the day I didn’t cry about it. Then trust me nothing but happy tears on the day as Ruby read out our memories of how we first met and how well we get on. There were funny parts in there too and it was wonderful how my children were involved in the hand tie part. Everyone who came said how it was such a beautiful ceremony and how good Ruby was.
