You have to make sure that you have the right celebrant for you. My job is to make sure that I get to know you as a couple, and will work with you to ensure that I capture and tell your love story exactly as you want. From our first no obligation conversation, maybe over a cup of tea, (or by Skype if there are a few miles between us), through to the day itself you will be able to relax knowing everything is taken care of. Once you have chosen me to be your celebrant we will have a meeting, maybe at the venue that you have in mind, or again by Skype call, so that you can talk lots and I can listen lots. This will form the foundations of our journey together. I will develop and craft a script completely from scratch with your thoughts and ideas that we have discussed at great length. If you want to include handfasting or a sand ceremony, a champagne toast after your first kiss, poems, dancing, or even hymns and prayers, then that is fine with me. I can suggest ideas for readings or poems if you need help. As for those vows - I am happy to help if you need suggestions, but would you like them kept secret from your beloved until the moment itself? I can help you with that too. On the big day itself I will liaise with your musicians, photographers, and all suppliers to ensure that the ceremony is absolutely seamless from start to finish. I won’t be rushing off to attend another wedding - once booked, I am yours for the day.
