Established in 2010, we specialise in “Beautiful Photographs of Fleeting Moments”. [[Here’s why...]] I’m Fiona, the owner of Walker McCabe Photography and I LOVE photographing people. I think it’s because the way my images are received has such similarities with the way I see my subjects when I'm documenting them. As a photographer, I'm sure you'd expect me to say that technicals come first - but they don't. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and, I promise you, the favourite picture a mother finds of her baby boy smiling at her or the bride and groom forever use to symbolise that moment they were head-over-heels in love... is never the most technically correct image I'll take for you. Portraits are about so much more than the "perfect shot" they're about capturing something you thought you could only feel, not see. That fire in your belly, of adoration for that moment- A whirlwind of indescribable joy. A feeling of belonging and pride that you could never use words to describe; so much more than a picture.
