Matt recently photographed our wedding at Peak Edge Hotel & we couldn’t be happier that we chose Matt to capture our big day! From the first consultation, until receiving our photos and beyond, the service provided has been impeccable. Matt worked with Christian on the day & it was an absolute pleasure to have them both there, they are such great guys & such fun! They blended in seamlessly, I’m not overly keen on having my photo taken but most of the time I didn’t even notice them snapping away! But after seeing the end result it was clear they were right there, not missing a single precious moment. The photographs are just amazing & will be treasured forever. Matt you are so brilliant at what you do! We would 100% recommend Matt to anyone looking for a wedding photographer, I can’t imagine that anything better exists!

We initially saw Matt’s work online and were really impressed with the quality and how he seemed to capture the day naturally, from the first time we met Matt we felt really comfortable and he took the time to listen to what we were looking for. Matt took the time to explain his style of photography and showed us his example albums; we were blown away by the dramatic pictures we saw and we knew straight away that Matt was the right photographer for us. We booked in straight away and also booked for a pre wedding shoot to allow us to get used to Matt’s way of working and for Matt to get to know us. When we saw the images that Matt captured we knew that we would get some stunning wedding shots! When it came to the Wedding day nothing was too much trouble for Matt, sometimes we even forgot that we had photographers there as they managed to stay out of the way and capture lots of natural shots. We ended up being short of time for the group shots on the day but Matt captured some beautiful shots using his lighting at night time; we think that the pictures look really dramatic and colourful by using the lighting and actually look better than natural light shots. We also got some breathtaking silhouette photos at sunset, this was the main thing that we asked Matt to capture for us and when we viewed the photo’s we were blown away by the images that Matt captured! Matt has also produced us some wonderful Wedding albums and parent albums that we treasure forever. We would certainly recommend (and already have) Matt to anyone looking for a Wedding or portrait photographer who will go above and beyond to capture every detail beautifully.

Matt and Christian were both amazing, they put us and the guest at ease and most of the time we didn't even know they were there. Matt clearly has a keen eye for getting the perfect picture and our wedding photographs will be treasured forever, we've had so many comments of how amazing they are. Wedding photography is always a big cost, but no doubt Matt's prices could be three times as much and I would happily pay it time and time again. Cannot recommend his services enough. Matt is an amazing photographer, who captured our special day perfectly. He was loved by all our guests and blended into the background to take some beautiful, natural shots of us and our loved ones. Matt and Christian did our photos for our wedding. Id spent alot of time looking for a good photographer. The photos that stood out, I asked who did them " Matt Selby ". When I spoke to Matt I new he was the man for the job..... 5 stars all day long. cheers lads

Matt is absolutely fantastic at what he does! We are so pleased with our wedding photos he captured the day perfectly and when looking back on the photos it feels like your reliving the whole day which is what every couple should have. Matt is a lovely guy and worked really well with us (as well as Christian), knowing exactly when we needed to go for photos based on the lighting/weather without it feeling like we were constantly having photos taken! Wedding photos are one of the most important things to consider when getting married as these are the memories you will treasure for the rest of your lives and Matt captured our day perfect. We could not have asked for a better photographer than Matt (and Christian too!) for our wedding. They were amazing on the day, making sure they got the best photos whilst not letting the day become one long photo shoot and just being really great fun. Most importantly though, the photos are absolutely beautiful and an amazing reminder of a perfect day. We have already highly recommended Matt to friends who are getting married and I can't give any higher praise than that!

Just had Matt and his assistant do our wedding celebration at The Old Vicarage in Southwell yesterday. From start to finish, they were both fantastic. We never felt overwhelmed and could relax and feel comfortable with the shots they were taking. We were 100% confident with the style and experimentation of the photos and where and when they being taken throughout the afternoon. Matt Selby is one brilliant photographer and we are going to be waiting like excited children to see the results. We would thoroughly recommend this hard working team.
