Describe your typical process with a couple.
Meet up for an informal chat and to discuss their expectations for the day. Leave them with price options depending on their requirements. Once they decide they would like to book me a deposit of £100 is taken to secure the date with half of the balance paid up to 12 weeks & the final payment up to 6 weeks prior to the wedding date. I always make every effort to go the rehearsal as this helps the immediate party become familiar with me and also gives me a clear idea of the layout and the opportunity to meet with the vicar and to get the do's & don'ts! In the case of an unknown civil venue where there is no rehearsal, I still like to visit before the date to check out the best photo opportunities & alternatives in the case of a rainy day. After the honeymoon, I arrange a date to meet with the couple to view a slideshow of their photos. If they have ordered an album package, they then go through the photos individually to decide the final ones they would like printed in the book. The book takes approximately 3-4 weeks to arrive and I then deliver it along with a number of watermarked disks and order forms for the couple to give out to friends and relatives should they wish to place an order.
