Far from just taking a photograph, my aim is to capture the real you and your own story in the beauty of your favourite natural surroundings. If you're camera shy you will love my unobtrusive, yet personal manner and these images will look epic on your wall for years to come. My style has a documentary feel, I like to capture the day as it happens and nothing is forced.
We'll meet a couple of times or so before the big day, we'll talk about your plans for the day and we'll go and explore some woods or hills for your engagement shoot.
On the day I'll be there from the start right up until the finish. From the moment the dressing gown goes on to start getting ready to when the shoes come off to dance the night away. I'll be there for the first kiss, the speeches and the first dance. If you'd like one, there will be a second photographer so we can have all angles covered all day.
After the day I know you'll be excited to show your friends and family your photos, that's why your images are all available on a private online gallery. You'll also have plenty of options when it comes to buying one (or 10) of your stunning images to put on the wall - a classic canvas or a striking aluminium print? The choice is all yours. There is also the option to buy a wedding album and we will go through the design process for this together. We'll pick your favourite images and put them together to tell your story.

What is your most memorable wedding?
Oh goodness - hard to think of just one! I've had the best man leave his suit at home (he only just made it to the ceremony in time), the weddings ring lost 10 minutes before the ceremony and a ladybird infestation. Those were just this year.

Intimate, natural, romantic, timeless and unobtrusive

My style and passion - I think it's pretty unique
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't rush anything - take your time to make decisions even if that means you have to have a slightly longer engagement
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A couples son was presenting the rings and his favourite animal is penguins - the rings were presented in the cutest penguin ring boxes!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once you've made that initial enquiry I always like to meet a prospective couple - I think it's really important we all get on as I will be with you for the majority of your wedding day! Once we've met and had a good natter about your wedding day and generally got to know each other I'll make sure we keep in touch until your engagement shoot. We'll meet again before the wedding to discuss timings of the day and the finer points and then before you know it you'll be waking up saying "I'm getting married today!"
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
1?! Wow that's a tough one. A wedding is full of so many special moments. If I really can only choose one I would say it's a photo with your family. You never know when you'll get them all together again.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A surprise dove release - that was interesting!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
An umbrella and wellies - don't be afraid of the rain! Embrace it, after all you are getting married in the UK.
Describe how you got into photography.
It may sound cliche, but my dad is the reason I got into photography. He is the most amazing painter - I am not, but he taught me how to use a camera fairly early and definitely nurtured my love for images!
