My photographic style is what many refer to as either “Reportage”, or “Documentary”, meaning that I prefer to document the events of the day, rather than control them. This does not mean that I don’t do group shots: I do. There will always be shots of the Register Signing, and the group shots outside the Church, and the Confetti throwing - it just means that I don’t take all day over it and keep the caterers waiting while the food goes cold! Where necessary I will photograph throughout the whole day starting with Bridal Prep, staying with you right through to the first dance, but I will never get in your way, and I’ll always be discreet. The Wedding is your day - not mine. You are the centre of attention, not me. Consider is how much of your wedding you’d like your photographer to cover. Bridal prep through to first dance could span over 8 hours. If you just want photography from arrival at the Church/Venue through to group shots at the reception, this would take considerably less time, and the cost would be correspondingly less. For my albums I use Graphistudio, in Italy. They invented the Storybook Wedding Album, and only deal with Professional Photographers. GraphiStudio albums don't come cheap - you get what you pay for. The shooting and post production, then album design involved in a Wedding typically adds up to over a week's work. I don't offer specific "packages" as such, because everyone is different, so I prefer to discuss requirements in detail face-to-face. As a guide, my price for a full day's photography, including a GraphiStudio album is £1500. This typically covers photography from around 12 noon until the first dance at around 8pm or so. If you don't require an album, the price for full-res images on disc would be £795.00. At the other end of the scale, for 2 hours’ photography (Arrival at the venue/the service/register signing/confetti/group shots outside) I would charge £395 including approximately 100 images on disc.
