I worked with Jo on a styled shoot I co-ordinated having come across her beautiful website via a search engine! She had just the style I was looking for and I hastily contacted her in the hope that she would come on board for the shoot - she said yes and I am so thrilled that she did ! Styled shoots can be rather busy with lots going on and you have to work fast ! Jo calmly went about capturing all the details and the whole picture - she has an amazing eye for that perfect shot ! She is creative, lovely to work with and definitely a calming influence ! She is also quiet, unobtrusive and one of the nicest people I have ever met ! I am looking forward to working with Jo again so she can work her magic on my next project !

Jo photographed our wedding and she was amazing!! We met her for an anniversary shot a few months before and she put us totally at ease. We're not the best at having our photos taken but Jo made it really easy and we were both much more relaxed in front of the camera after. On the wedding day Jo was able to capture the whole day perfectly without being intrusive. She listened to exactly what we wanted and we had complete confidence that's she'd get the shots we were hoping for. We've got our photos back and couldn't be happier! Thanks again Jo! Xx

Joanna is a talented and thoughtful individual and an amazing wedding photographer. We have some beautiful photos of our wedding from the 3rd March 2018 (her first wedding of the year) but the whole experience was wonderful. I feel like Joanna put me at ease with her warm and friendly personality - she has a very calming aura! It was snowy weather and very cold but Joanna did such a good job capturing our day despite these unpredictabilities. I would highly recommend Joanna - her photographs are beautiful, romantic, modern and tasteful. She is obviously very passionate about her work and that is very clear. Sometimes things happen for a reason...we were originally let down by a photographer that the venue had recommended to use, we then spent time desperately searching for a relaxed style of photography to capture our day. We were lucky enough to find Joanna and when we found out one of the only dates she had left for the summer was ours, we knew it was meant to be. From the moment we met Joanna on our pre wedding shoot we knew that actually things had worked out for the better. She made us feel so at ease and was the most genuinely lovely person that we couldn’t wait to have with us on our wedding day. We are so in love with our photos and they capture so many special moments that were shared throughout the day. I didn’t think I would ever connect with photos as much as I have but they are truly beautiful. I would recommend Joanna over and over. We can never thank you enough! As wedding photographers everyone asked us "Who's doing your wedding photos?".—you wouldn't believe how common it was—and we proudly said Joanna Briggs is our wedding photographer. Our photographer, Joanna, was the first thing we booked when we got engaged back in 2014, we loved her style and work ethic so much we thought she was the perfect fit. Shooting our engagement shoot back in 2015, this just sealed our love for Joanna's work. She captured US perfectly. Now last month as our wedding finally came around we were so thrilled to have her a part of our wedding day. She even shot a mini boudoir session for me as a wedding present to my husband which again completely blew me away. We're so overwhelmingly happy to have ourselves captured so perfectly and I will continue to use her services in the future.

Jo is so talented and I knew as soon as I saw her website that I wanted to have her as our wedding photographer. We were blown away by not just how great our engagement and wedding photos were but also at how lovely she is! Such a wonderful lady who is fantastic at what she does. She put us both at ease in our engagement shoot and on the big day. The weather also didn't stop her capturing beautiful pictures. She felt more like a friend and many of our guests said how lovely her and Kerrie were. They captured so much of the day, we had pictures of everyone and all the details. We both would massively recommend her! She is worth every penny. Such a genuinely lovely person and great at what she does. Even how beautifully presented our wedding photos were sent to us was so nice! I still follow her instagram as I love seeing her work. Dear Jo Philly has shown us your photos and I have to tell you that Sue and I were blown away by the superb results you have achieved. Apart from the excellent quality there were three other things which made your work so special: You have represented our family and friends in the photos so well, and caught their characters The little nuances and details you have captured reflect the thought and planning by the bride and groom which went into this wedding And all this whilst being incredibly unobtrusive. I hardly saw you at all - so different from so many weddings (our own included!) where the photographer almost seems to take over the event, and one begins to think the whole thing has been put on for his/her benefit! You have obviously carried out a great deal of work since the wedding in preparing and presenting the photographs, and it has all contributed to a really fabulous result. You say on your website that you are passionate about photographing people - well that has come over loud and clear!
