My role as your wedding photographer is to be your story teller. It's my job to know you and to find out what makes your special day perfect and unique to you, then bring the story of your wedding day to life through the images that I take. I recognise my role as not simply your photographer but one of the most important people present... because I'm capturing your precious memories.

What about your business are you most proud of?

The warm responses I get from couples I have met and ask me to be their wedding photographer, as they feel so comfortable with me.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Book your chosen suppliers as early as possible to ensure they have your date available.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

At a wedding this year, the couple had a Poleroid camera so that their guests could take selfies and peg them in place of their names on the seating layout.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I'll arrange to visit them at their home and discuss their wedding in detail. I take samples of my work and products with me. My appointments don't take too long and I give them the opportunity for think over our chat after I've gone.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The kiss as the ceremony ends.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

I have attractive wedding umbrellas to ensure outdoor shots can still be taken.

Describe how you got into photography.

I have always had a passion for photography and a keen photographic eye. A few years ago I was asked to photograph a friend's 40th birthday party. So many people were then asking me why I hadn't made it my profession...and the rest is history!
