What is your most memorable wedding?
A tipi wedding on the outskirts of Durham. The tipis were set up in the middle of a field surrounded by trees, guests sat on chesterfield sofas around camp fires and sat up until all hours playing guitar and singing. The most relaxed and creative wedding we've ever been to.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't stress the little things

Describe your typical process with a couple.
We'll meet a couple and have a great conversation with them. We'll find out about them and what they're like as a couple. We'll find out what they're looking for and what's important to them. We'll look at what we can do for them and if that fits in with their vision for their wedding day. We want them to be comfortable around us and want them to feel like part of the family.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A photograph of the couple having a cuddle. On most wedding days, our couples don't actually get to spend that much time together, in between talking to guests and everything else that's going on. Taking 5 minutes for themselves and having an intimate moment where they can just cuddle and chat for a second is always nice. There's nothing fake about that and it's a lovely natural moment.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
We weren't asked to take this, but at our tipi wedding we carried a chesterfield sofa 100 yards across a field to set it up with the tipis in the background. We waiting until the light started to go and asked our couple to take a seat. The image has been an iconic symbol of Chocolate Chip for several years now. It's completely unique and we've never seen it done anywhere else.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Bring your wellies and an umbrella.
Describe how you got into photography.
We initially studied film and video production at university and spent years working in the video production and media industry. We fell into photography during this time. After doing much corporate work, we started photographing weddings about 8 years ago and found we did a very good job at making our clients happy. More couples kept booking and now here we are.
