Amelia Jacob Photography is committed to creating and capturing truly natural and beautiful photographs. I believe that every wedding is as unique as each bride and groom and it is a privilege to capture the story of your day. Through pre-wedding consultations and a pre-wedding photoshoot I get to know you so I can deliver a personalised service. The standard wedding photography package includes all your edited digital images on a USB presented with a selection of small prints in a beautiful keepsake box. Bespoke designed wedding albums are available to purchase. Full day and hourly packages available.

Photographs of family, childhoods and the departed decorating the reception venue.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I usually speak with prospective brides and grooms via social media or email initially and then arrange a face to face meeting if requested. I love meeting you face to face so I can get to know you and hear about your plans for your day. I include a pre-wedding photoshoot in my wedding photography package as it helps to get to know each other more and helps you to relax in front of the camera by going through some of the poses we might use on the day. You can also use this time to tell me what you do and don't like so I can tailor my service to meet your needs. Finally a pre-wedding consultation is arranged at the wedding venue about a week before the ceremony to go through the timings and plans for the day and to have a walk around together and talk about places you might like to have photographs taken.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
A photo of you looking into each others eyes, one that shows your personalities and the emotions of the day. Natural, romantic and the one you'll have on your wall for years to come.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas and a good sense of humour!
Describe how you got into photography.
I became a family photographer after my son was born 6 years ago. I am self taught on the whole, although I have and still do attend courses to enhance my knowledge and challenge myself - its good to always strive to improve! Having been a family and portrait photographer for 6 years I decided to take the dive into wedding photography. I love weddings! The emotions, the excitement, the details! Its so amazing to be asked to capture the story of a wedding day. This is now my third year photographing weddings and I've got some really exciting weddings booked in. I only book 10-12 weddings each year so I can really put my heart and soul into my work and ensure that I'm capturing your day in a truly honest, creative and romantic style.
