DJ and Master of Ceremonies and winner of the UK Wedding DJ of the Year 2016 and one of the reasons for receiving that is because I offer you a very different service from most DJs and do a lot more than just play music. Meeting with you is essential to me to enable me to have a thorough understanding of what you want for your wedding- what mood you're seeking, what your priorities are, what you have liked and disliked at other weddings you've attended and get to have a feel for the personalities of the two of you. I then suggest some services that I feel would be relevant to what you're seeking that will create a special day for you and your guests, that will help with the ice breaking will generate energy and create a fun atmosphere.

What is your most memorable wedding?

A wedding for Freddie and Scott in the French Alps. They were a fun couple and combined with the amazing scenery, fun guests and incredible atmosphere made for a special day

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

The day flies by and everybody wants to talk with you throughout that time- ensure the two of you take some time out to be spend at least a few minutes at some point during the day to take it all in

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A cherished relative who lived in NZ that the couple thought weren't able to attend the wedding, surprising them on the day by turning up. The venue were aware of it though and had been informed so they had secretly adjusted the table plans to accommodate this person

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I meet with every couple at the pre-booking stage. Usually at their house, sometimes at the wedding venue and sometimes at a coffee shop near to the office of one of them to discuss their day. If they decide to book my services there is usually at least one further meeting before the wedding and sometimes 2 or 3 depending on what has been booked to really go into details about every aspect of the day so that on the day it all runs as smooth as silk.

What makes a romantic first dance?

The couple totally forgetting about everybody else in the room and completely focusing attention on each other for that special moment.

What is your number one floor-filler?

There isn't one song that always work at every wedding as they're all different. Some that work at most weddings are Superstition by Stevie Wonder, Journey-Don't stop believing and Maroon 5-Moves like Jagger
