Couldn't thank him enough!

Tim was absolutely fantastic at our wedding couldn’t thank him enough! I would definitely recommend him, he’s a really pleasant guy, he takes time to listen to the sort of music you would like and he’s also there to help recommend song choices. His wife came with him, she is also a very pleasant lady. Honestly trust me he made our wedding day playing the saxophone everyone loved it,and him playing it. 100% recommendation for the sax man Tim. He also took the time out of his busy schedule to help me make sure our wedding day went as it should, he was willing to travel and be there for us. (Glad you both enjoyed your 3 course meal) Thank you X

There’s a vast playlist to choose from & we had am

Tim played at my wedding a few weeks ago and was absolutely wonderful! We first heard Tim play at a wedding fair and I knew as soon as I heard him that I wanted him to play at our reception. Tim played through our welcome drinks and during the wedding breakfast which added a beautiful & romantic atmosphere to our big day and then followed with some more upbeat songs to get everyone in the party mood :) There’s a vast playlist to choose from & we had amazing comments from our guests! Tim & his beautiful wife Lorraine are such lovely people & I can’t thank you enough for your contribution to our day. Lots of love, Sarah & Jacob xxx

The most magically special touch to our day

We want to say a massive thank you to you for your wonderful music at our wedding. The saxophone is very special to Rachel and I and it was just the most magically special touch to our day. Playing while we were greeting our guests into the wedding breakfast was brilliant it gave a great first impression and the choice of songs were fab! Also by playing for part of the wedding breakfast it created a lovely atmosphere. All our guest made lovely comments about you they really enjoyed the experience especially our little flower girl. I'm so glad we asked you to play for our evening guests so they didn't miss out! Thank you for your great repertoire, professionalism, personality and co-operation. It was a great decision to book you and made our day extra special.

One of the best decisions we made was booking Tim

One of the best decisions we made was booking Tim, our fabulous saxophonist. Who played Etta James “At Last” whilst I walked down the aisle with my Dad, and of course “You’ll never walk alone” when we walked back out as Husband & Wife. And so many great favourite tunes too.. Great pic! ❤️❤️ Thanks Tim! X

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

I'd been included in the wedding service rehearsals by a lovely couple who also invited me to their evening party. The service and reception were beautiful occasions, but the evening hit disaster when the DJ's equipment blew up!! Despite the long day, I played party music for dancing. The bride wanted to dance with her father to Chris de Burgh's 'Lady in Red' - as a child, she'd been his Lady in Red - but was heartbroken that the DJ was gone; I stepped in to play it on sax ......... the moment was so beautiful, there was hardly a dry eye in the room!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Accomplished; friendly; reassuring; flexible; fun.

What about your business are you most proud of?

Brides & grooms and their guests are always delighted enjoying their favourites on sax! I always enjoy chatting with any children present, even if I have to break my schedule and play something for them. I played 3 garden parties for a top politician whose small children were in awe - especially when I played their requests!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Be individual - do what's right for you!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I played at a rock festival-themed wedding, the room had been decorated by the couple so there were posters of classic rock bands - e.g. Queen, Saxon, Santana - on the walls, whilst the bride had made all the table features. The 'cake' was actually a pile of doughnuts! 10/10 for individuality!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Once a booking is confirmed, I send out my complete repertoire (and send out updates as new songs are added). I also send the booking form for them to complete and return, at which point I send the contract for their signature and return. If feasible, I like to visit the couple at home, to go through their music choices and other important matters.

What makes a romantic first dance?

Whilst many couples will ask their DJ to play a favourite dance track, a truly romantic song should be a slow, gentle perennial such as Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling In Love' or 'Crazy' by Patsy Cline - both sound stunning played on the saxophone.

What is your number one floor-filler?

One Step Beyond (Madness) The most requested song is Baker Street - I have both the original version and a club mix!

Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?

I wouldn't - I love doing what I do now!

What is the soundtrack to your life?

I can't answer that as I enjoy all the styles of music I play - from dance/party numbers, pop/movie hits and back to older jazz and Gatsby tunes .... and much more!
