A fabulous, female-fronted, five-piece swing band. The best songs from the last 100 years - from the 1920s up until right now, a selection that all you guests will love. From well-loved swing numbers and ratpack classics; through Disney family favourites, blues and rock'n'roll; to 80s-til-now pop gems; Tiger Town Swing Band has a song list that'll get everyone on board. (Give us a shout for a copy of our song list!) We'll tailor our performance to your preference: - choose a first dance from a long list of classic tracks - let us know your favourite songs from our repertoire, and we'll make sure we include them! - set-up times, performance times, durations, background music - from the moment we rock up to the last piece we pack down, we're there to help your party go with a swing. Often, guests ask us to play to a cunning formula we use: play a first set of more laid-back, toe-tappin', finger-snappin' songs, as your evening guests arrive, get a drink and mingle; then a jumping second set designed to get everyone on the dancefloor! But everybody's wedding is different, and we're very happy to find the best fit for *your* party. Of course, we'll also respond to the room and the guests, and know when to hit the dancefloor button! Tiger Town Swing Band is a group of top-drawer, professional musicians, all experienced in co-operating with venues and your other suppliers to ensure a smooth and hiccup-free party. Whether you also have a DJ or use our PA for your playlist, whether you want us set up beforehand or just before we play, it's all cool with us. We bring our own PA equipment and lighting, all safety-tested; we have public liability cover, but also have a keen awareness of safe practice, so that we won't need it!
