Bride To Be

I bought my dress from Bride to be on my first visit, on the first day of shopping for wedding dresses. The staff are really warm and welcoming and really listen to you, and make you feel at ease. They have a great range of dress designers. I was after Stella York (Essence of Australia) in particular and found they had a great range of their dresses, as well as many similar ones I hadn't even considered. Service was first class from start to finish. I wish I could do it all again as I really enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks Emma and team x

I cant recommend this shop highly enough, all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and they have a great selection of dresses. In particular I would like to say a huge huge thank you to Emma for helping me choose my wedding dress!! I was quite nervous beforehand and really worried I wouldn't find anything I liked but Emma immediately put me at ease and we found my perfect dress. We enjoyed the experience so much we are returning next week for a bridesmaids dress!!

Bride To Be was my first bridal shop appointment and my last! I was very nervous prior to my appointment but when I arrived, Emma made me feel very relaxed and had picked out styles she'd thought I'd like based on suggestions I had made whilst booking the appointment. Emma bought out a selection of absolutely stunning dresses and had all the patience in the world whilst I was trying on the various styles and different veils - I knew instantly the dress I had chosen was "THE DRESS" and could not be happier with my purchase, the attentiveness of the staff and how comfortable I felt. I'm really happy I've bought my dress through such a reputable company and excited to go back to see Emma, the team and my dress again!

I found Bride to Be via a Google search as I needed to find a bridal boutique stocking Essense of Australia gowns as close to Swindon as possible and easy to access via a train journey. My daughter had tried on a particular Essense gown back in Suffolk and had fallen in love with it but needed to use a bridal boutique closer to home in order to attend fittings. From the first email contact to the final fitting we couldn't have been more impressed with the service we recieved from the staff. I think what impressed us the most was the "�can do' attitude of all the staff from sourcing a sample of the dress my daughter wanted (as the shop did not stock that gown themselves) to the ordering and alterations. Practical, realistic and no nonsense advice gave my daughter confidence in her choice of dress. The experience of the staff shone through at all stages. The alterations were perfect - and we were shown how to corset the back of the dress in detail - taking videos of the staff fitting my daughter into the dress. This was to prove essential as the bride's father had to get her into her dress as we were running late and everyone else, including bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride had left for the venue! The result was a stunning, confident bride in a beautiful, much loved dress. I cannot recommend the boutique and staff enough. Excellent.

I could not recommend this store more highly. Emma and the team were absolutely wonderful. They listened to the type of dress I thought I wanted and Emma then suggested a dress which turned out to be the one! If you are looking for a bridal shop with a great range of dresses and welcoming staff that go above and beyond to find the perfect dress for you, then this is definitely the shop to visit.

I visited Bride To Be twice and saw Em on both visits. I chose some dresses from the rail myself but I ended up not liking them once they were on. Em offered her opinion and recommended that I try two styles of dress on (which I had previously disregarded), I tried the dresses on and they both ended up being my finalists! On my second visit to Bride To Be, I purchased one of these dresses for my Big Day! I can't thank Em enough for her expertise and help and could not have asked for anyone better! The Boutique itself is lovely, it's bright and sparkly and has a fantastic variety of dresses from different designers - I would highly recommend! :)

Bride to be has a lovely collection of wedding dresses and I found the perfect one for me! Emma was great and so patient, carefully pinning each dress to show me how the correct size would look. I didn’t at all feel rushed when trying on dresses like I sometimes did in other shops. Thanks so much for a great experience!!

I couldn’t recommend this place more. I had had some unpleasant dress shopping experiences but this place was amazing! Emma was so helpful and totally put me at ease. I explained what I was looking for and she picked something out straight away. I tried it on and it was the one!! Such a pretty shop, huge amount of dresses and really lovely staff. I can’t wait to see my dress again. Thank you for all of your help! Xx
