Here at Handmade to Hire, we specialise in making one of a kind props to complement your special day. All of the backdrops and wedding props that Handmade to Hire create are made by hand with quality materials. They are designed and made by myself, Grace, in my home studio. My most popular creations include a beautiful 6 foot wreath to host your ceremony beneath and a very romantic macrame swing, both act as perfect photo backdrops. My designs are elegant and chic, with a fun twist, and perfect for any wedding celebration. They’ll be a brilliant talking point throughout your day and add a beautiful dimension to your photographs. Even if you haven’t chosen a dry hire wedding venue, Handmade to Hire can create beautiful wedding props to really bring your venue space alive. I have been a designer-maker for many years and immerse myself in a variety of crafts. Handmade to Hire allows me to apply my imagination and practical skills to create beautiful pieces for weddings. Many of my wedding backdrops are created using macrame - the art of creating patterns with knots - a craft that dates back to the 13th Century. As the name suggests, all of our pieces are available to hire and some of our props and backdrops are suitable for outdoor use. We’ll install the pieces for you, so you don’t have to worry about the set up before your big day. We can also discuss bespoke designs and customisation with you, so you can keep your backdrop and hang it in your home or garden after your wedding as a beautiful memento of your day.
