The Bake Lab Full Description
LOCATED IN SHEFFIELD, I WORK OUT OF MY HOME BASED BAKERY TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL BESPOKE BAKED GOODS FOR YOUR WEDDING.
My home based bakery may be small but it is perfectly equipped for me to produce a huge range of baked goods week after week. My small kitchen is 5* hygiene rated and I hold all the necessary qualifications to run my operation efficiently and cleanly.
I only use the best quality ingredients, Belgian chocolate, British flour, free range eggs. All my cakes and treats are made using only clean label ingredients, no additives or preservatives in sight! I make everything, from the salted caramel to the jams, it is a pleasure for me to create beautiful cakes that are handmade from start to finish.
I can cater for all allergies and intolerances, creating a unique and delicious cake for your wedding.

What is your most memorable wedding?
All my weddings have been memorable for different reasons - but my favourites are always those where the couple want something unique. Nicola & Billy went for a 3 tier pink and white watercolour cake with a white chocolate drip, decorated with fresh flowers and macarons. It looked AMAZING, I was so proud and happy to be involved in their big day.

Bespoke, beautiful, unique, fun and delicious!
What about your business are you most proud of?
I do everything in my business myself, the baking, admin, marketing etc. It has been a rollercoaster so far, I love getting to know couples in the run up to their wedding, something I could never do when I was stuck working in a bakery all day.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Decide what is important to you. Don't feel the need to be bound by wedding traditions - it is YOUR DAY!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After a few emails back and forth about your wedding date and location we will arrange to meet in a local cafe to chat more about your day and what you want for sweet treats. I will come with plenty of ideas and I love to hear any ideas from you.
I will then send over your quote noting down everything we discussed - if you are happy with the quote then you will pay a £50 deposit to secure your date - simple!
