What is your most memorable wedding?
I delivered a Star Wars themed wedding cake recently and seeing both the bride and groom cry when I took it out of the box absolutely made my day!

What about your business are you most proud of?
I am so proud that my business was born from a love of baking for my husband who has an extremely sweet tooth. I baked so much he ended up bringing cakes to work everyday! One day, I received a telephone call from his boss asking me to make his daughter's birthday cake and the rest as they say, is history .......
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Wedding cakes cost more than you think so try and set yourself a realistic budget. Don't choose someone because they are the cheapest. Choose the person you are most comfortable with. Your wedding cake will probably be the most expensive cake you'll ever buy!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I have seen so many but little things like water bowls for dogs at a teepee wedding, storm trooper table decorations, hand made Marvel comic table flowers .... I could be here for hours!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I love cake consultations with couples. It's a great opportunity for me to get to know the couple and for them to get to know me. These consultations are a great way of pulling lots of ideas together, making each cake personal and making sure it's all in the detail. It also means cake tasting!
