It is a natural setting that offers each couple an intimate and unforgettable atmosphere, creating memorable memories, where the beauty of nature mixes with the joy and emotion of this very special day.

When the couple starts planning their wedding, the main advice would be to clearly define their priorities and budget from the beginning. This helps to structure the process effectively and to know what to focus on. Here are some key steps to follow:
Set a date: Choose the period that suits them best, taking into account the availability of their loved ones and vendors.
Set a budget: Determine how much they are willing to invest in each aspect of the wedding (venue, caterer, dresses, decoration, etc.). This will help them make informed decisions throughout the planning.
Choose the style and theme: Decide on the style of the wedding (classic, modern, rustic, etc.) and possibly a theme. This will guide their choices for decoration, outfits and even invitations.
Make a guest list: Determine how many guests they want to invite and who, in order to have an idea of the size of the venue and the budget.
Booking vendors: It is important to book key vendors such as the venue, photographer, caterer, and musician or DJ as early as possible, as their schedules can fill up quickly.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A personal touch that particularly stood out to me was when a painter was present at the wedding to immortalize the event in real time. Throughout the day, he captured key moments, such as the ceremony, the first moments of dancing or the interactions between the guests, with a unique artistic style. At the end of the day, he had created a work that perfectly summed up the atmosphere and emotion of that special day. This offered the bride and groom a totally original souvenir, much more than a simple photograph: a real work of art, created especially for them.

Their presence always adds a little extra to the atmosphere, but we make sure to respect the confidentiality and privacy of each guest. This is what makes our venue magical: each event, whether discreet or more publicized, is unique and precious.
What’s your favourite canapé?
My favorite appetizer? The cannelés from Bordeaux, of course! These little sweet treats, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, are a real delight. And to complete this choice, nothing beats oysters from the basin, fresh and delicately salty, which bring a refined and local touch. These two specialties perfectly combine traditional flavors and delicacies, offering guests an authentic and tasty culinary experience. A real treat for the taste buds!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
My favorite treat? A good Bordeaux red wine, of course! And among my favorites, there is our organic cuvée: Château Couffin du Périer. This wine, carefully crafted, perfectly embodies the richness and character of our region's wines. Its delicate aromas and balanced structure make it a real delight to savor, whether during a meal or a moment of conviviality. It is a treat that combines authenticity and refinement, while highlighting the Bordeaux terroir. A real pleasure for wine lovers!

The most unique feature of our venue is its exceptional natural setting, combining architectural elegance and natural beauty. The Château de Couffins, with its stone façade and majestic steps, offers a timeless atmosphere, while its verdant park, adorned with century-old magnolias, creates a magical atmosphere, ideal for outdoor events. In addition, our location is easily accessible, situated in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, a stone's throw from Bordeaux, allowing our guests to enjoy both the serenity of the estate and the proximity to the city. A venue that is both charming and practical, offering the best of both worlds.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
I am most proud of working as a family and being able to pass on this historic place from generation to generation. It is a real source of pride to see our family invest in the maintenance and preservation of Château de Couffins, preserving its authenticity while adapting it to modern needs. This transmission of know-how, history and family values gives a special soul to the place and enriches each event that takes place there. It is this strong link with the past and the future that makes our company something truly special and unique.
