Turn your wedding day into a wedding weekend..... Tros yr Afon is hired out for weddings on an exclusive use basis. Meaning you would have the whole site for the entirety of your wedding weekend. It really can feel like your own country estate for the duration of your celebrations! By hiring the site, Tros Yr Afon can be transformed into your ideal venue. The lawn in front of the manor house is the perfect setting for a marquee; whichever style you choose. And with the flexibility of a marquee and onsite accommodation for 56 of your guests, your wedding can be as small and intimate or large and grand as you like. We are not big on limitations at Tros Yr Afon, we want you to create your perfect wedding day. Our experienced team is here to help and advise you, as much, or as little as you like. The ball is very much in your court. The biggest limitation is your imagination. To hold your wedding at Tros Yr Afon, outside of the school holidays, the main house; Ty Mawr is hired for a minimum of 5 nights and the cottages for a minimum of 3 nights. For a Saturday wedding, this is usually from the Thursday before, until the Tuesday following your wedding. This means the marquee can go up on the Manor House lawn on the Thursday, ready for personal touches on Friday and the big day on Saturday. The cottages are hired from the Friday until the Monday, meaning your guests can arrive and relax in good time the evening before and enjoy the excitement and build up to the day itself.
