The Queen's Hall

The large Victorian hall, which is ideally situated on Cuckfield High Street, seats up to 120 for a formal wedding breakfast or 180 for a buffet meal. There is also a foyer with a lobby bar, ideal to use if the weather is inclement, or as an extra place for guests to mingle. There is a pleasant garden at the rear of the hall where our wedding gazebo is situated. This is a beautiful place to get married, and a lovely setting for photographs, drinks and canapés – weather permitting! (There is a recreation ground beyond the garden gate where lively youngsters can spill out.) The Queen’s Hall is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies in three areas - the upstairs Council Chamber which is suitable for a more intimate occasion, as well as the main hall and the wedding gazebo which both cater comfortably for larger weddings. We are able to offer you the flexibility to alter your plans up to the last minute, especially useful if the weather changes, as all three options would be made available exclusively to you as part of your wedding booking. Whether you choose to have a buffet or a full-sit down meal, you are free to choose your own caterers, who will have use of the full catering kitchen. In addition to this, you can choose your own florists and you have the freedom to decorate the hall and garden as you wish, or bring in event organisers to do it for you. The Queen’s Hall offers you a blank canvas to work on, the only limit is your imagination. Our staff will be only too pleased to show you around and suggest ideas of what can be done from our portfolio of previous weddings. Exclusive hall hire fee for Weddings is £900.00 all day and evening through to 1200 the following day. The additional cost for a Civil Wedding Ceremony is £250.00.
