The Grand Hotel, Tynemouth

This venue catered for our every need , ever-changing plans and numbers , the amount of items to personalise our wedding, they were amazing, smiling , and friendly. The food was outstanding the venue was amazing I honestly couldn't reccomend this venue the staff the hospitality enough they made our day even more perfect than I knew it was all ready going to be .

The team at the Grand hotel have been amazing through the full of the wedding planning, from recommendations to making sure that everything would be perfect for our big day. The staff that worked our wedding were all lovely and made everything run so smoothly they are truly the best team. I thought I would stress the full day about things, but the team were so great I did not stress at all! I can see why so many people want to get married at the venue as it is stunning from the views to the rooms. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married.

We had the best day of our lives! We were caught up in a random snow blizzard the weekend we got married in March. This didn’t stop the venue and suppliers getting there to decorate and make our day special. We even managed to get to the beach for photos! Staff were amazing, attentive and perfectionists. The team were always checking up on us from start to finish, before and after. We had so many different elements in our day from Chinese tea ceremony to Chinese lion dance parade. Nothing was too much hassle. They worked around us and even our buffet menu was created around what we wanted which was great. A mixture of English/Chinese. Our guests loved it, some even went back for 3rd plates!! Truly beautiful venue on the doorstep of the beautiful Longsands beach that holds sooo many memories for us as a couple. Loved our whole day.

From booking right up until the end of the night the staff were amazing. A beautiful venue with the perfect staircase for beautiful photos. The grand hotel do everything they can to make sure the event runs smoothly, they couldnt do enough for us. If this wasnt enough then the view certainly topped off the whole occasion. The grand hotel were amazing from start to finish they could not have done anymore for us. Amazing staff who did anything we asked, gorgeous food, our guests were never without a drink - the hotel is so warm and friendly It’s just an amazing wedding venue with amazing sea views to top it off!

We celebrated our wedding at the Grand Hotel, Tynemouth on 15.09.18. It was an amazing day shared with family and friends who all agreed it couldn’t have been better. It’s a perfect setting with attentive staff and the food was first class. One very happy Bride and Groom x

We had our wedding here in July this year. It was truly amazing. The staff were fantastic and so helpful. The day went perfectly and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The food was beautiful and the setting out of this world. The rooms are gorgeous. We would certainly recommend it and in fact can’t wait to go back for our anniversary!

We chose the Grand Hotel because its a beautiful old building, in a stunning location with breathtaking views over Longhands beach. From our initial meeting, catch up meetings and numerous emails nothing we requested was a problem. Our master of ceremonies Craig was superb, extremely professional and helpful throughout the day including helping our guests with any of their requirements. All of our guests commented on how friendly all of the staff were. The food served during the day was delicious and they catered for everyone in the wedding party. We would have no hesitation in recommending this wedding venue.

My wedding at The Grand was perfect. It was my husbands or mines first and we were blown away by everything that happened on our day. All the little touches made us feel extra special and they also allowed us to make our wedding special by letting us have our daughter sing during the service, my husband sing in the evening and we were able to make it the day to bring both our families together. It was the most perfect day of my life and I am still looking at the photos and smiling to myself. Thank you.

I'm having my wedding reception here in July 2018 and the staff are amazing. They are lovely to talk to and very professional. They cater to your needs and personal wants, they invite me and my fiancée to wedding fairs that they hold each season and they gave us a list of suppliers as well as being very open with answering any questions we have.
