The Casterton Grange Estate

Our wonderful photographer Tiree first told us about Casterton Grange in our hunt for the perfect wedding venue. We arranged a visit and instantly fell in love…. Casterton strikes the perfect balance between being the grand, elegant country house it is and being a warm and welcoming family home. We spent a magical week in the main house on the run up to our wedding with our friends and family. Patrick, Anneka and Tammy went above and beyond to make sure our every need was met during our stay, paving the way for what culminated in the wedding day of our dreams. We watched with wonder whilst under the guidance of our superstar wedding planner Emma, the house was transformed on our wedding day into the most perfect space to exchange our vows. The beauty of the house and gardens offered up a never ending list of options for amazing wedding pictures and the grounds were just perfect for the wedding party tipi we’d dreamed of! The only down side of a stay at Casterton is that you’ll genuinely never want to leave. We can’t think of a more perfect way of celebrating our anniversaries though, than returning here in the years to come.

We hired out the Casterton Estate for joint birthday celebrations with all of our friends and family and had the most incredible time. Every single thing about the place is amazing; the decor is incredible and every bedroom is so spacious with a beautiful en suite and a lot of space. The house is equipped very well and the communal areas are perfect for large groups wanting to spend time together! We were given great recommendations for the local town which is beautiful and lots to explore within walking distance. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a weekend/ week away or a beautiful place for a wedding or another kind of celebration. Would love to come back in summer as the outdoor space is amazing! The Casterton Grange team are an absolute dream to plan your big day with. Super flexible, supportive and accommodating which has been such a relief whilst planning a wedding during Covid-19! The venue is stunning and just what we were looking for to host our big day. It's a perfect balance of character and modern facilities with plenty of room for our loved ones to stay on the estate too.
