The Astley Bank Hotel & Wedding Venue

We held our wedding and reception at Astley Bank and right from the initial booking, nothing was too much trouble. Our requests were happily honoured and even the singing waiters were welcomed! The food was absolutely delicious and everyone commented on how lovely it was. The staff at Astley Bank made us feel so special... we even felt special returning on our anniversary. Thank you to the dedicated team for helping to make our day so special.

We married here in the May of 2015 and return every year for our anniversary meal. I would choose Astley Bank a million times over, it’s simply a beautiful venue, excellent customer service and food to die for. We had been to many weddings at the usual overpriced & underwhelming hotel chains and we wanted something different. At Astley Bank you are made to feel like part of the family. I can not recommend them enough! Go for a meal and get a feel for the place, you won’t be disappointed.

We got married here in July 2018 and couldn't thank Vicki and the team at Astley Bank enough. They were friendly and professional throughout and made us (and all our guests) feel at home from the beginning of the day until the morning after. The extra touches such as personalised breakfast menus were just perfect. Fantastic service, delicious food and fabulous wedding packages available. Would highly recommend them as a venue.

Just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Astley Bank for helping our wedding go perfectly on 22nd Feb! All the staff were so helpful and helped turn our dream into a reality! Nothing was too much trouble including a last minute vegan on the day 🙈 I’m so glad we booked here and will definitely be back to celebrate more special occasions in the future. As soon as we saw Astley Bank in person, we knew the venue was the right choice for our wedding. We visited many times before our wedding to “test” the food and every time we left feeling more and more excited for our big day. We would like to thank all the staff for all their hard work in making sure our day went so perfectly. Vicki was an absolute star during the planning process and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were able to sit back and relax, knowing the staff were in control behind the scenes. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the food was, as always, amazing. All we heard from our guests was how incredible the food was and how beautiful the venue is. Thank you to all the team, we just need a reason to return!

We had our vow renewal at Astley Bank and what a venue this is! We fell in love from our first visit and they certainly exceeded all expectations. The feedback we have had about the venue from all our guests have been phenomenal, not just the building and location but the staff as well. They are all so passionate about everything, they were a huge part of our day, the food was outstanding and everybody was so impressed by the whole experience. Astley Bank will always remain as our special place. We cannot thank you enough from the bottom of our hearts.

We have just had our wedding here at Astley Bank and to say it was the best day is an understatement! We couldn't possibly thank Vicki and the rest of the staff enough! It was absolutely perfect from start to finish! We didn't want the day to end nor did want to leave the day after! What a fantastic day from start to finish. Vicki and her team were very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, from the groom and best man staying the night before, right up to the morning after. The wedding, everything, was just perfect. The food, presentation and attention to detail was excellent. We would highly recommend Astley Bank to anyone. My new husband and I just wanted to write a few words to say how amazing and beautiful our wedding day at Astley Bank was on Saturday. The venue itself was absolutely stunning, the food was great, the DJ pretty much played our entire (often embarrassing) playlist (!) and the whole day ran smoothly from beginning to end due to the fantastic organisation of the staff (especially Vicki). Despite a few rain showers, some thunderstorms and some hailstone (but also some lovely sunshine) it really was the best day of our lives and we are planning to come back every year on our anniversary to celebrate (if they’ll have us!)
