Best wedding ever

As soon as I saw this venue I fell in love with it. With the beautiful lake and lovely flowers surrounding the venue, it couldn't have been a more perfect setting. The gardens are immaculately maintained and there are plenty of benches for seating. Planning a wedding couldn't be more stressful but Susie and Andy make you feel at ease and are very relaxed and easy going. They are there every step of the way with the planning stage and nothing is too much trouble for them. You are allowed access to the barn a few days before hand. We started setting up on a Wednesday for a Saturday wedding. This really relieves the pressure and stress of setting up so this is a huge bonus! I would highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone ! Thank you so much Susie and Andy!

Perfect, magical wedding setting.

We had our wedding at Rumbolds Farm in June and I cannot express enough how fantastic this venue is. As soon as we arrived to have a look around, we absolutely fell in love and we knew right away this was the most perfect venue for our wedding. The gardens are absolutely stunning with beautiful flowers all around. The barn was a perfect setting for the wedding breakfast and dancing, it was absolutely beautiful and needed very little decoration. The accommodation was also fantastic with the best fry up breakfast, cooked by Susie, that we’ve ever had! Susie and Andy were fantastic hosts. Susie answered all our emails quickly and couldn’t have been more helpful, warm and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. I can’t fault Rumbolds Farm as a wedding venue, it truly was the most magical setting for our wedding and we had the best day of our lives.

The most beautiful, relaxed venue

We had our wedding reception at Rumbolds in June and it couldn't have been better. The venue was absolutely stunning with all of the green gardens and beautiful flowers. Our guests loved it and we got some beautiful photos. You can tell that the owners really take care of it. The barn itself was big enough to fit our 90ish guests, and has permanent fairy lights which make it look amazing. There's also accommodation onsite which was great for friends with young children. The owners are what really make Rumbolds - they couldn't have been more flexible or helpful with planning the wedding and making sure that it all went smoothly on the day. We supplied our own drinks, had a hog roast and a ceilidh. I also can't thank the owners enough for helping my mum who hurt her back. They really went above and beyond to make her comfortable and make sure she was ok. If you want a wedding venue that you can really make your own, I would definitely recommend Rumbolds.

A truly magical time!

We got married at Rumbolds on the 25th May 2019 and it surpassed all our hopes and dreams. We spent from the Tuesday before the Wedding staying at Rumbolds with a couple of friends who were helping us to decorate the barn and generally chill out before the big day. Having so much time to relax and get things ready at your own pace really helped. It very much felt like 'our own space'. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and the barn has so much rustic charm it was absolutely perfect. A big thank you to Susie and her team who were always on hand to answer any questions. Having so many accommodation options on site as well was a huge bonus. It meant all our close friends could stay for a couple of days celebrating with us. We couldn't have wished for a better time and I would highly recommend Rumbolds as a venue!

The perfect venue, the perfect day

Susie and her family are what makes Rumbolds Barn so special. From the moment we viewed the barn we knew it was the one for us. Susie is so kind, helpful and accommodating, on what is the best day of your lives. She makes you feel at ease on creating what you want from your wedding day. The fact you can gain access to the barn a few days earlier eases the stresses of trying to get everything organised for the big day. The day after the wedding Susie is there, with the help of Tilly, making breakfast for the guests who stayed in the B&B, a really family orientated set up which we love. The next day isn’t a rush to leave the barn either, we could casually clear away and leave the barn later. A real gem in the heart of the countryside, we had the most wonderful day and having our wedding at Rumbolds played a huge part in that!
