A warm welcome... Rise Hall has been hosting impeccably stylish weddings for over a decade. Precious moments of uncomplicated happiness are our constant inspiration. Your own country house! At Rise Hall, the perfect wedding staycation includes exclusive use of the venue. Rise Hall has 31 individually styled bedrooms with modern, luxurious comforts. The ceremony is a centerpiece to the wedding day. We are licensed for civil ceremonies in the Morning Room, an elegant and light room with a stunning chandelier, original features and views across the manicured lawns of the Rise Hall estate. The drinks reception can be held outside in the gardens with the backdrop of the stunning period house for photographs. The Belvedere Hall, with its bespoke chandelier, makes for a stunning entrance and photographs. No celebration is complete without food and drink! As wedding packages don’t exist, your celebration is as individual, as you as a couple. The food and drink you decide to have for your wedding day has been carefully curated by our team of award winning chefs. When it’s party time you will have our very own traditional, Yorkshire pub! Everything flows seamlessly and effortlessly from the day time reception into the evening party! The Orangery Ballroom is perfect to dance the night away! Once your booking of Rise Hall is confirmed, you'll be introduced to your Event Manager. Viewings are held by appointment and can be arranged at a time that suits you. We cannot wait to welcome you to Rise Hall!

We had an amazing wedding at Howsham Hall in October 2019. It's an incredible venue - the biggest bridal suite in the world (surely!!!), beautiful house and the most wonderful food and service from the Dine team. Craig is great and he leads an excellent team - all of whom were extremely professional and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble for the Dine team - they really take care to keep Howsham Hall looking absolutely stunning, and we had so many great comments about the food - portions are big and the quality is superb! My new Husband and I couldn’t recommend Rise Hall more highly, the house is beautiful and the grounds are stunning but what really makes it special is how wonderful all of the Rise team are! They make you so welcome it’s like being at home for the weekend. We had the most wonderful wedding as did all of our guests. Many commented on the venue and about how fantastic the team at Rise are. My new Husband and I couldn’t recommend Rise Hall more highly, the house is beautiful and the grounds are stunning but what really makes it special is how wonderful all of the Rise team are! They make you so welcome it’s like being at home for the weekend. We had the most wonderful wedding as did all of our guests. Many commented on the venue and about how fantastic the team at Rise are.

The team went out of their way to make everything we asked for happen, and always with a smile. Our family members and friends were blown away by this magnificent venue, which uniquely combines a sense of grandeur with such a personal and friendly touch. Rise Hall truly was our home for the weekend - first class in EVERY way!A phenomenal experience from beginning to end. We had an amazing day, it was organised and run by professionals offering excellent food, service and all our needs were accommodated (even the very last minute ones) and our expectations exceeded! Both my wife and I had a wonderful day and all our guest have commented on what an amazing time they had and how the food was excellent and the service superb. Rise Hall is a wonderful venue and Dine certainly did it justice to make our special day truly unforgettable! There really isn't a better, more perfect venue than Rise Hall. You can make with it whatever you wish. It has an incredible setting, amazing rooms to choose where to get married, a fabulous reception room, superb, beautiful bedrooms and most of all.... a team of people who are genuinely kind and deliver a first class service throughout the planning process and until the moment you leave.There really isn't a better, more perfect venue than Rise Hall. You can make with it whatever you wish. Even though my Husband and I arranged our wedding from abroad, everything was perfectly arranged the team. Communication was fantastic during the run up to the wedding and any questions or concerns we had were always answered thoroughly. On the wedding day, the staff knew exactly what was happening and made sure everything was running smoothly so that we could all enjoy the day without needing to worry about a thing. We were welcomed at Rise Hall as though we were old friends.Even though my Husband and I arranged our wedding from abroad, everything was perfectly arranged the team. So hard to pick the best as they are all so different! We've had couples arriving by helicopter, the winter bride who matched her red wellies to her bouquet, and the festival-themed wedding!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

There are significant savings to be made if you decide to get married out of the peak season. Autumn and Spring weddings can be just as beautiful as a summer wedding, at a fraction of the price (and you are not holding out for a sunny day which isn't always a guarantee!)

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

One December wedding gave each person a Christmas bauble with their name on as their placecard, which was really special

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

There are so many- the grand staircase for that Hollywood style entrance; the West front with its dramatic portico, the morning room with its romantic drapery, the Library with its 6000 books....

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Of course, but we don't name names! We've worked with lots of celebrities and members of the Royal Family.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Tempura prawns, a classic but done properly they are amazing.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

I think you can't beat a hot sandwich after a hard night's partying! Or maybe cheese and biscuits to have with the late night port and brandy in front of the Library fire.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

It's not really a feature as such but everyone who visits comments on how Rise Hall feels so warm and friendly. It's grand, but absolutely not pretentious. You can kick off your shoes and make yourself at home. Someone said 'Rise Hall hugs you' which I think is lovely!

What part of your business are you most proud of?

I love that so many people love Rise Hall so much, and I love showing them around and telling them all about the history.
