Description

Preston Court Estate is set in unapologetically fun. Read our Google Reviews! Words used by our couple to describe our in -house team; ''The Most Brilliant Wedding Team… In The World.''

Most wedding venues show you a barn, wave at a tree, and expect you to be impressed. And yes, at Preston Court, we do have magnificent Kentish countryside, a stunning historic barn, and an actual, fully functioning vintage carousel.

But none of that matters if the human beings running the show are useless.

The simple truth is this: a venue can be as pretty as a picture, but if the staff are rubbish, your big day will be a disaster. Thankfully, our team isn't just good—they are, without exaggeration, astonishingly brilliant.

We don't just "coordinate" your wedding; we run it with the quiet, ruthless efficiency of a Formula 1 pit crew—if that pit crew were also immensely polite and handed you a glass of champagne.

Don’t just take our word for it. Here is what actual human beings have written in our Google reviews about the squad running this place:

"The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and kind—they made everyone feel instantly at ease and taken care of."

"From day one, the team was great, brilliant, and relentlessly accommodating. The whole planning experience felt entirely stress-free and extremely organized."

"On the day itself, their thoughtful, patient, and efficient approach meant every tiny detail was handled quietly behind the scenes."

You see? People arrive expecting a nice rustic barn, and they leave completely blown away by a team that is thoughtful, patient, and almost unnaturally organised.

So yes, come for the magical views and the carousel. But book Preston Court because our team will work tirelessly to ensure your wedding is, quite simply, flawless.

FAQs

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

Totally enchanting and unique- so much charm. The steam engines, the 'white' Victorian carousel, the mechanical fairground organs, Juliana's Island, the lakes, the manor house, the Showmans wagon, 17th century oak barns, the on site luxury Glamping for 30 guests.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Look at a few different venues in person to really get a true understanding of what you are looking for - you might not know until you view 'the one.'

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

The beautiful bride had gorgeous orange flamed hair and whilst discussing the choice of wedding colours, she joked with her groom that they must make sure nothing is orange as the colour of hair was enough ginger for everyone!! The groom took it upon himself to secretly make things 'ginger' to make a point that he LOVES her 'gingerness' and he can't get enough of the beautiful colour. They had orange cocktails (Aperol cocktails) as their reception drinks, orange napkins and the favours were male and female gingerbread men. Needless to say, the bride thought it was hilarious and very sweet of her groom. We were really moved by how simple little things can bring laughter.

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

Charming Quirky Idyllic Picturesque Majestic

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

Wow, that is very difficult as one of our many highlights is the variety we offer for beautiful and artistic photo opportunities, what with the manor house, the lake, Julianna's island, the horses, the vintage steam engines, the showman wagon, the organs. However, if we had to choose one it would be the bride and groom riding the carousel with the sun setting behind, which transforms the sky into a glowing backdrop of stunning caramel and peach colours.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Gary Barlow & Jesse Ware have performed for weddings here.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Mini Beef Wellingtons.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Crepe Suzette.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The Steam engines, the fairground rides and organs.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

The overall experience we offer and the beautiful surroundings.
