There’s something about weddings in the countryside that changes the pace of the whole day.
Guests arrive earlier, conversations last longer and before the ceremony has even begun, people are already settling in with drinks in hand, mountains in the distance, music starting somewhere inside the house.
At Peterstone Court, weddings are never rushed. The house becomes yours, giving you the space to celebrate properly with the people who matter most.
Choose to say your vows inside the Georgian house or outdoors with the Brecon Beacons surrounding you.
Couples often tell us it’s the quieter moments they remember most. The sound of birds in the trees before the ceremony begins, the mountains ahead as they walk down the aisle and that feeling of taking everything in just before seeing each other.
Inside, the ceremony spaces feel calm and welcoming, with natural light pouring through the windows and even sheep grazing in the fields beyond. Georgian features throughout the house add character to the space while still allowing the moment itself to take centre stage.
The Pen-y-Fan Suite was made for the kind of weddings where nobody is checking the time, long tables filled with food and wine, speeches that go slightly off script, packed dance floors and guests still talking long after the music ends.
With space to move between the house, gardens and terrace, the day unfolds naturally and never feels confined to one room.
More couples are choosing to turn their wedding into a full weekend away, giving everyone time to properly settle in, celebrate and enjoy being together beyond just the wedding day itself.
With country-house bedrooms, an on-site spa and the Brecon Beacons on the doorstep, Peterstone Court lends itself naturally to two and three day celebrations. From drinks and dinner the night before to slow breakfasts the morning after, the house gives guests space to relax and make the most of the time together.
Food sits at the heart of every wedding at Peterstone Court.
Our chefs work closely with the seasons, building menus around carefully chosen ingredients and a simple belief that food should feel thoughtful and in tune with the day itself.
Each wedding is different, so the menus are shaped with you from the beginning. Some couples prefer something relaxed and informal, others lean towards a more traditional dining experience and many find a balance somewhere in between. The focus is always on creating food that fits naturally into the flow of the day.
If you’d like to see Peterstone Court in person, we’d love to welcome you for a viewing.
