- AAlison & Dyfed13/11/2018Absolutely fabulous venue for a wedding festival Absolutely fabulous venue for a wedding festivalI can’t describe our wedding as just a wedding day but more of a festival, the venue is hired for 3 days, 2 just for guests the third for the bride and groom alone to begin married life. The safari huts with private hot tubs are a special treat for guests and the house rooms have spa baths (utter bliss) anything goes at this venue as long as it’s legal. I can’t express enough praise for Graham, Bri and the team, nothing is too much trouble and we had the most amazing wedding to ever be had throughout all of time. I can’t describe our wedding as just a wedding day but more of a festival, the venue is hired for 3 days, 2 just for guests the third for the bride and groom alone to begin married life. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We have a saying here at Pentre, "If it's legal and we can physically do it, it answer is a resounding YES!!" We are want every bride to have whatever they want on their wedding day so when a bride said she wanted a fairground, we thought, why not. it was brilliant and we even got to go on the Ferris wheel just before they took it down. Fantastic!!!.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Use a budget planner and at each venue ask for a price per person inclusive of everything. There can be so many add ons, that why here at Pentre we charge one fee for our couples and they can use all the lovely things we have inner wedding store, like our candy cart, photo wall, doughnut wall, cupcake stand, Prosecco wall and so much more all included in the venue fee. This year we've even got 5' LOVE letters! Weddings don't have to break the bank!!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our grooms had a red rose delivered to his bride every hour on the hour before the service!

Salmon pate on brochette with a fresh strawberry. Yummy!!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Fresh slice of Pizza, we've a brilliant contact with a pizza company whole be there till the end making fresh Pizza's for you.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our African Safari lodges. We were the first people to bring the lodges to the UK. They all have their own private hot tubs and all the luxuries you'd expect in a 5 star hotel
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our reviews and the thank you cards and hugs we get from our guests. We hear so often, 'that was the best wedding we've ever been at". That just makes our day!
