Orsett Hall is home to a boutique spa, and an exquisite Garden Brasserie, as well as the relaxing Café Sartoria. With its exceptional facilities and dedicated staff, Orsett Hall is the perfect Essex wedding venue, providing everything you need for your special day. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering for 30 or a grand celebration for 450, your wedding at Orsett Hall will be truly unforgettable. Orsett Hall features four reception rooms, each ideal for weddings of any size and with their own stunning surroundings. Important Notice Regarding 2026 Wedding Availability at Orsett Hall

Orsett Hall will begin a programme of development and refurbishment works in mid-July 2026. As these works will significantly affect the hotel’s facilities, availability, and overall guest experience, we will be unable to maintain the standards required to deliver a wedding celebration during this period.

For this reason, we are unable to offer wedding bookings beyond 10 July 2026.

If you are considering holding your wedding on or before 10 July 2026, we would be delighted to discuss your plans and explore the options available to you. Our team is here to support you in creating a memorable and seamless celebration ahead of the refurbishment schedule.

I booked my wedding here and was shocked at the terrible customer service and quality of food I received after visiting for champagne afternoon tea. The manner in which I was dismissed after attempting to book an Overnight spa package was shocking! My experience with the venue overall was shocking given the good reviews- they didn't handle my cancellation in a professional way and management refused to speak to me. There was absolutely no effort from the staff to retain my business or regain my trust. Extremely disappointed to say the least. Happy to provide email threads and letters.I booked my wedding here and was shocked at the terrible customer service and quality of food I received after visiting for champagne afternoon tea. I had my wedding here and it was unorganized from start to finish. On the day I had multiple issues, including bar not being appropriately staffed during drinks reception and our guests having to walk to an alternative bar, food centre pieces being brought out too early and not when advised, being told to tidy up without any mention of this on the night of your wedding, event planner not on hand throughout the day as advised. Despite complaining no member of staff has taken me seriously and have even removed my comments on their fb page. While they may advertise themselves as very simple the best, I would steer clear if you would like an organized stress-free day. They are just after your money and after paying for your entire day do not even give you a complementary bottle of champagne to enjoy in your suite.I had my wedding here and it was unorganized from start to finish.
