Our newly-refurbished Haymarket Room is the ideal location for your ceremony. This room can accommodate up to 70 guests. Find us at the Registrar's entrance to the Civic Centre from St Mary's Place, NE1 8QH. As an alternative to the Haymarket Room, you may wish to hold your ceremony in the Register Office (Glass room). This room is available from Monday to Saturday holds a maximum of 6 people including the couple. The Collingwood Suite is situated on the first floor above the Registrars entrance and is elegantly decorated with rich coloured silk wall coverings and hand carved walnut. This room can accommodate up to 80 guests theatre style or 90 cabaret style and is ideal for ceremonies or wedding receptions. The Grand Entrance red carpet area with its back drop of the Bavarian crystal chandelier and the grandeur of the marble staircase what better location for your wedding ceremony to take place. A truly magnificent place for your wedding photographs. This area can accommodate up to 80 guests comfortably theatre style. Fridays and Saturdays are the most popular days for our larger ceremony rooms, and you are advised to book well in advance to secure your preferred date and time. Ceremonies can take place in the Register Office every day excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays.
