Surrounded by picturesque meadows and woodland, the estate seamlessly blends natural beauty with exceptional facilities. At its heart sits a charmingly converted barn and courtyard, whilst ten acres of rolling meadow provides a stunning canvas for outdoor celebrations. Whether you envision an intimate gathering or a grand occasion, our versatile indoor and outdoor settings, all fully licensed for civil ceremonies or celebrant led. These can be tailored to bring your dream wedding to life.
Every detail has been thoughtfully considered for your comfort and convenience. A dedicated bridal preparation room ensures you begin your day in style. Outside, guests can enjoy our outdoor bar, pavilion, and enchanted woodland , creating a truly magical atmosphere from arrival to farewell.
Our culinary offering is something we are particularly proud of, with a wide variety of dining options crafted to delight every palate and complement the celebration perfectly.
Conveniently situated in the stunning Chiltern Hills, Monkton Barn Estate is just a few minutes from the charming riverside town of Marlow, with London and Heathrow only a 40 minute drive away via the M40 and M4. Ample parking for over 50 vehicles is available, with overnight parking offered as standard because we want your day to be as effortless as it is unforgettable.

It was such an incredible space that enabled us to really make our day our own. In the run up to the day itself, Peter was available for planning "parties" which were a true highlight of our wedding preparation and always sparked such brilliant ideas. He was incredible in helping to navigate the torrential rain the week of our wedding and created lots of plan Bs should we need them. This was hugely appreciated and felt like a true partnership. We split our day between the meadow for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast and then hosted the evening inside the barn. This meant we could create a real difference between night and day and no need to worry about change over times etc. The meadow has stunning views and is an incredible space to really let your hair down and celebrate with everyone. The courtyard and barn were perfect for the evening, plenty of room for the band, drinks, dancing and best of all a fire for drunken marshmallows.
