Homme House

We only ever saw one venue as we knew Homme House would be perfect, and it was. The grounds are stunning but for our Christmas wedding it was the house that really made the day so special. It's beautiful and comes with a brilliant management team in Charlie and Sarah who really did make the whole process very easy! Lots of advice and quick responses and I felt a bit smug that I didn't have any wedding-related stresses thanks to them. We used all their recommended suppliers and they were all excellent, lots of compliments on the food and catering team in particular! We couldn't have had our wedding anywhere else. Such a special place that is now a part of our lives forever.

From the moment we saw Homme House we fell in love. Charlie and Sarah are so lovely and they were amazing from the moment we booked a viewing. They have so much experience and we’re always happy to help through the planning process and they helped to make the day run perfectly from start to finish! We loved having the venue for the weekend and our guests loved the venue as much as we did. We could not have asked for a better wedding day, venue and hosts! Could not recommend enough 😊

We tied the knot earlier this year and are so happy we chose Homme House for our special day! The property, gardens and surrounding grounds are absolutely stunning and make for a perfect wedding backdrop with plenty of space inside and out for guests to enjoy. The owners, Charlie and Sarah, are lovely people and as soon as we met them, we knew we were in safe hands. During the planning stage they supported us throughout, offering lots of helpful advice and guiding us with their experience. Their flexible approach meant that we could create our own personal wedding by choosing caterers, drinks, decorations, entertainment etc. and being able to celebrate with our family and friends for the whole wedding weekend made it a really special experience. We had so many nice comments from guests who really enjoyed such an amazing place. If you are looking for a fantastic wedding venue, we would highly recommend meeting with Charlie and Sarah at Homme House.

Could not have had a better wedding venue - the team at Homme are kind, helpful, and very experienced. It was a joy to get married here - they helped guide us through the planning, made sure it was exactly how we wanted, and the day itself ran perfectly. We wouldn't have changed a thing!

Our wedding at Homme really was so lovely - we really couldn't praise it enough. We just had a very small, intimate wedding and Charlie & Sarah made us and our families feel so welcome, and were so accommodating and flexible, it meant we were all able to enjoy a truly wonderful day that was entirely suited to us. The house and gardens themselves are breathtakingly stunning. It's a very special place to be. Most importantly, Charlie & Sarah were absolutely lovely and made everything so easy. Would 100% recommend.

We chose Homme House because we wanted a venue which we could share with out friends and family, but which wasn't overly prescriptive about what you could do. A lot of venues were giving us Menus to choose from and drinks packages to pick. We wanted it to be our day, not a tick box exercise. Homme House delivered on that and more. We hadn't actually planned a wedding before :) So Charlie and Sarah made sure we had everything planned that we needed to get planned but left it up to us. They supplied us with a list of suppliers that had worked at Homme House before to get you started - local florists, caterers etc. which was immensely helpful as a guide and they give you some planning spreadsheets. The planning meetings are great at getting your mind focused and getting you excited for the big day. We wish everybody could have a wedding as fantastic as ours and you can't go wrong with Homme House.

We got married at Homme House on 27th July 2019 - and it was the most magical day ever. Charlie and Sarah have both been so amazing from the initial meeting to the very end. The packs that we were given had so many helpful tips on planning our wedding. They kept in touch throughout and answered any questions we had / kept us on track when wedding planning motivation plummeted(!) Charlie has a passion for both Homme and making weddings truly personal - his enthusiasm and knowledge has been invaluable in the planning period. We were able to plan and design every aspect of our wedding. Exclusive use and accommodation on site helped make the wedding very homely and comfortable – this was particularly important for us as my immediate family came from Japan. We really enjoyed catching up with guests with a BBQ at the coach-house the evening before. The venue was absolutely beautiful and we came away with wonderful photos from the day. We were unfortunately unable to have a summerhouse wedding due to the weather – Charlie and Sarah set up the ceremony room promptly after change in plans, Sarah kindly acted as a mediator between bride and groom to decide on next step and was very patient with our indecision! Our wedding would not have run so smoothly without the help of Charlie and Sarah. In short, if you are looking for the perfect wedding venue you can stop now – you’ve found it.

I really couldn’t recommend Homme House enough. From the first viewing they made us feel important & valued, there was no over selling as the venue spoke for itself. Charlie listened to all our ideas and was open to it all (this included a giant slip and slide!) He was present throughout all the planning process and on the day made us feel as though Homme House was as much our home as theirs. Five star service from beginning to end - thank you for EVERYTHING! An absolutely must see venue.

What can we say! From the second we set foot in the beautiful grounds at Homme House we were in no doubt whatsoever as to where we wanted to get married. Meeting Charlie and Sarah was a joy and they made the entire experience completely personal and did everything they could to make sure we had our day, exactly how we imagined it. From the initial visit over a year before the wedding, they kept in touch and were more than happy to accommodate further visits both from us and our suppliers. They provided us with advice and ideas, and worked with us to get every little detail exactly right. On the day they were there to help with everything and anything we needed. We could not have had the perfect day we had without their help and support. Homme House itself is stunning beyond belief, every single guest commented on what a beautiful place it was, from the breathtaking gardens to the English grandeur of the house itself, and the bridal suite is 'wow factor' on another level! I could write for hours about how perfect this venue and the wonderful family owners are. But honestly just go and see it for yourselves! We were genuinely sad to leave on the Sunday after we had packed down, we fell in love with the place so much. Thank you Charlie, Sarah, Kato, and your family for sharing your beautiful home with us to have the relaxed, country wedding we dreamed of. We only wish we could do it all again!

Quite simply a stunning setting for our once in a lifetime event, with such wonderful hosts. The outside grounds gave a beautiful backdrop for our photographs, with the inside providing plenty of space for all our guests to enjoy the day, whether that was relaxing in front of the fire or dancing the night away!! Tucked away and perfect for a private party, but with excellent access for our family and friends (some who had travelled as far from Kent!) We can’t thank the Finnigan Family enough for making our special day a reality.
