Goodwood House

We were blown away by the sheer beauty and magnificence of Goodwood House; it really is a truly stunning venue and nothing else compared to it. It was a bonus that every part of our wedding could take place at a single location, from the ceremony and drinks reception to the wedding breakfast and evening reception – this made it so easy plan our dream day.

Our dream of a white wedding really did become a reality; a picturesque and snowy Goodwood Estate set the backdrop for the best day of our lives. From the moment we entered the House to the time we left, everything was meticulously planned and organised. We will treasure our memories for a lifetime – our wedding day: a dream come true and perfect in every way.

One of my favourite, most cherished moments of the day itself (as well as marrying my husband of course!) was the sneak peek we had of the Ballroom before all our guests came through. The Head Butler, David came to get us to show us the Ballroom and I’ll never forget the beautiful warm smell of the flowers with the glow of many candles flickering about the grand space. Everything was just perfect and seeing our vision come together in the awe-inspiring Ballroom was a moment we will never forget.

Our day was everything and more than we could have imagined. From start to finish, everything was perfect and it truly was the best day of our lives. The food was amazing, there is nothing else that can be said other than it was simply amazing. Our guests still talk about the Knickerbocker Glory desserts to this day! The whole setting of Goodwood is breath-taking, with such a sense of grandeur.

Our day at Goodwood went like a dream from beginning to end. I can’t reinforce enough what a wonderful and special venue it is. We chose to have the long table in the magnificent Ballroom and it was simply the best idea – it looked so impressive.

In one word 'spectacular'. It offers all the grandeur, sophistication and heritage to make a wedding day unforgettable - for you and your guests. A moment that still gives us goose-bumps is when we entered the Great Hall. The quartet were playing 'Skyfall' on the balcony and we entered the room for the first time to see it in all its glory - full of cherry blossom and all our loved ones.”
