Elmley Nature Reserve wedding is always a spectacular wedding.

First of all, big thank you to you for all of your support and assistance during the lead up to the wedding.

In fact, the moody storm clouds made for the most incredible light for their glorious barn ceremony, before glimpses of sunshine and a beautifully soft sunset illuminated their funfair-themed party. Offering the great outdoors and cosy under-cover options, this is a venue I can’t wait to return to.

Lucy and Jon had a glorious outside wedding ceremony at Elmley Nature Reserve with the picturesque countryside making a heavenly backdrop for their vows.

I was instantly blown away by the spectacular traditional Kent barn, where the wedding breakfast took place – a huge rustic room lit by candles and fairy lights – absolutely enchanting.

Oh my goodness, what can we say?! A HUGE thank you for capturing our day and making us feel unbelievably comfortable in your presence. You managed to capture the relaxed, fun and informal feel brilliantly which has brought back so many feelings and memories of the day. No wonder our cheeks hurt by the end of it, did we ever stop cheesing?! You are a proper crazy ninja lady who everyone loved (our guests are still raving at how much they loved you). This sense of balance extends to the wedding venue itself - the barn is set in the middle of the wilderness, offering breathtaking views across the marshes. Head out from the barn and you'll find yourself in a grassed walled garden; the perfect place for a party, and later, as the evening progresses, a fire pit or two, to keep you warm and toasty.

Elmley Nature Reserve, on the beautiful Isle of Sheppey in Kent was the perfect backdrop for a rustic, weekend-long glamping celebration, with it's blank canvas, picture-perfect barn.
