I organised a wedding where the groom was a keen shooter, so in his buttonhole was a shotgun cartridge, which I thought was a lovely personal touch

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The terrace outside is just beautiful, with Pendle Hill in the background, the lake and masses of flora and fauna, the backdrop is just stunning
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have... but we can't say! ssshhh!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
I LOVE cheeseboards! Yum!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
I wouldn't call this a feature, but I would say what makes us unique is that everything is self contained and really easy. The bar is on the dance floor in the Lakeside suite, the toilets are located in the Lakeside suite, the room can be partitioned according to your numbers so is all purpose made.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
As the hotel only opened on 23rd October, what makes me proud is seeing the finished product. I joined Crow Wood when the hotel was a mere building site, so to see it come to life and become a fully operational hotel is just wonderful.
