Charlton Hall is a private Grade II* listed, 18th century hall located within a private 150-acre country estate along the Northumberland coast and it could be exclusively yours for your special day! We aim to deliver a show-stopping venue that plays host to fine dining, private parties and licensed weddings. Charlton Hall is perfect for those looking to spend time and celebrate in a grand and lively stately home boasting designer interiors. Set over three floors, Charlton Hall is made up of The Library, Drawing Room, Dining Room, two bars and our speakeasy underground space, The Vaults. The Looking Glass offers uninterrupted views of the Hall’s country estate and is the perfect setting for your reception. The experienced event team is on hand to bring your dream day to life. An on-site wedding coordinator collaborates with couples to ascertain their vision and desired theme. They arrange everything from the ceremony to the after-party. The dedicated coordinator is happy to recommend trusted vendors for all your entertainment, beauty, wedding cake, photography, and floristry needs. There are six beautiful bedrooms to sleep 14 guests in the Hall, each suite lavishly decorated with signature interiors that blend contemporary and classic accents. As well as these stunning bedrooms the Charlton Hall estate also boasts a further 47 beautifully decorated bedrooms that can sleep up to sleep 70 guests and are just a short walk from where the wedding celebrations will take place. Thank you for giving us the most magical wedding day 10.08.19. It was everything we ever dreamed of and more. Despite the rain...Charlton Hall staff made sure I walked down the aisle without a drop of rain touching me. All of the staff have been amazing but Esme...we can’t thank you enough! I feel like I have made a friend for life. It was the best day ever. A day we certainly won’t forget ??Thank you for giving us the most magical wedding day 10.08.19. Esme, Emily & Andy were all amazing, so helpful, nothing was ever a problem. We had the best day of our lives, with the help of all Charlton Hall staff. All our guests only had positive words about the venue, the food was amazing and service was excellent. From the venue to the staff everything was absolutely perfect. Couldn’t of been easier to organise with the outstanding help of Jess and Esme. Andy also helped a lot through the day and completely took all the stress away. The venue was everything and more, its so beautiful and funky in its very own unique way. I loved absolutely every single minute of my wedding here. Charlton hall will forever hold a place in mine and my beautiful new wife’s hearts. Thank you. Esme was absolutely outstanding ! Nothing was too much trouble. She kept me calm throughout the whole process, it almost felt like having a close friend helping you plan your wedding. I will actually miss speaking to her ! Every team member that we came into contact with was brilliant. Charlton Hall is a venue like no other, it’s pioneering in its way of thinking and design, it was exactly what we were looking for. All of our family and friends haven’t stopped talking about it. Simply couldn't have gone better!The whole venue was incredible and beautiful. The food and drink were perfect and the staff simply bent over backwards on the day and in the lead up. Amanda, Andy and Esme were all fantastic. Esme was great in the run up to the wedding and kept us calm and Amanda and Andy were fantastic the day of the wedding the service was impeccable. My husband and I got married at Charlton Hall on Saturday. What can I say, the staff especially David and Esme went above and beyond to make our day so special. It was everything we wanted and more. The owner Richard and his whole family made sure everything was ready on time, we really appreciate the work they put in. Charlton Hall is going to be the wedding venue all others aspire to.
