Over the past 400 years, the 16th-century Thatch Barn has become part of the Blackwell landscape. Lovingly restored, it is licensed for civil ceremonies with features including original oak beams and barn doors, a magnificent open fire and ambient lighting. Say your vows in this romantic, rustic barn before enjoying welcome drinks and canapés on the Apple Tree Lawn. Dining and dancing take place in the contemporary Orchard Barn, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and doors, stylish bar, impressive dining space and mezzanine ‘chill out’ area. Here heritage and modern design collide and blend effortlessly together, bar stools made from tractor seats, and doors panelled with wood from the original water tower sit alongside a striking helical staircase and contemporary copper bar. This place is like heaven on earth!

We celebrated my sister and her husband's wedding here last Saturday... this place is like heaven on earth. Thank you so much for this magical day at your beautiful venue. We had our wedding here yesterday, and couldn't be happier about how it went! The venue was stunning and the food was beyond delicious. I only wish I had space to eat more! Verity & Alex managed our wedding in an amazing manner thinking of everything before I could, they made the day run smoothly and were friendly and approachable throughout! The honeymoon cottage was an amazing end to the best fairy tale day of my life! I cannot thank Didi and her team enough!
