The staff are cheerful and professional. Any glitches were dealt with couteously and efficiently. My husband and I checked out several venues for our wedding but none came close to what we found at The Duxton our last search. We decided this venue for many reasons including best customer service, quality, quantity, polite and hard working attendants/waiters/staff/cleaners, Reception staff, reasonable prices, extremely clean venue including the toilets, honesty and above all our most amazing Wedding Coordinator Rebecca. This lady blew us away with her politeness, patience and keeping us...My husband and I checked out several venues for our wedding but none came close to what we found at The Duxton our last search. We held our wedding at the Duxton earlier this year and they were absolutely excellent!! They made the experience so easy and enjoyable. Even when there was a change in wedding coordinator, the transition was very smooth. A special thanks to Rebecca who did such an excellent job as our wedding coordinator after taking over the job. This place is fantastic! It's a little old but that only adds to the heritage and history it has to offer. The main event hall is perfect for small wedding hosting 120 comfortably (sat down with round tables), the restaurant is superb to say the least and it's in the heart of the city so it's perfect if you're into people watching.
